People worrying about EU digital overreach, this is one area where EU politicians and bureaucracy should put in some hours to get to the bottom of what Samsung is doing.
To be fair this is how I, and probably not an insignificant number of users, feel about Teams on some days as well.
The European Commission has rolled out an alternative to Microsoft Teams.
But officials using it aren't impressed, with one describing the tool as “absolute sh-t.”

Need to hike the prices so they can finance the building of data centers using their products.
$NVDA AI SERVER PRICES SET TO RISE 15%+
Some Nvidia customers have been notified that AI server prices will rise more than 15% in many cases for systems shipping early next year, including Vera Rubin and Grace Blackwell.
Bloomberg says the increases will vary by chip generation and memory configuration, with soaring DRAM costs from Samsung, SK Hynix and Micron driving much of the pressure.
Server makers supplying hyperscalers including Microsoft, Google, and Microsoft have already begun notifying customers. Amazon, Microsoft, Google and Meta are developing in-house AI chips, but remain heavily dependent on Nvidia for their data center buildouts.
Is this built to create a sexy promo video or is it actually the best option on the battlefield where you aren't driving down a nice smooth runway?
I have no doubts that central bankers can come together to create global economic standstill.
Looking like it belongs in a Fiat is pretty on brand for Ferrari.
There's a dangerous romance in the design industry with process.
LoveFrom spent six months researching Ferrari's interior redesign. They delivered four books of research before a single design concept was even presented. Six months. Four books. For Ferrari, one of the most iconic brands on the planet.
And the result? It looks like it belongs in a Fiat.
This isn't a knock on LoveFrom specifically. It's a symptom of something much bigger: the industry has confused the weight of the process with the quality of the output.
Here's the trap: when you spend six months doing research and deliver four bound books to a client, everyone in the room feels smart.
The client feels validated because look at all this effort.
The agency feels justified because look at all this work.
The process becomes its own product. It starts generating its own momentum, its own gravity. And at some point, nobody can tell the difference between being thorough and actually being productive.
But the customer who sits in that Ferrari interior doesn't care about four books. They don't care about six months of ethnographic research or mood boards or "strategic frameworks". They care about one thing: does this feel like a Ferrari? Does this make me feel something?
And the answer, in this case, is a resounding no.
This is what happens when agencies sell process as a proxy for talent. Process is a safety net. It gives everyone involved permission to not worry about whether the people doing the work are actually exceptional at the craft or the right people for the job.
Because if the research was thorough, if the methodology was sound, if the strategy was airtight, then surely the output will be great, right?
Wrong. Process doesn't design anything. People do.
Process is just a tool. It is not the product. And the moment you confuse the two, you end up putting a Fiat interior into a Ferrari.
Hoppas de får en bra deal av deras elhandlare.
AI-jätten Mistral storsatsar i Sverige.
News at 11, computers are good at processing data.
🦔 Goldman Sachs has been working with Anthropic for six months to build AI agents that automate accounting and compliance roles. Embedded Anthropic engineers are co-developing autonomous systems for trade accounting, transaction reconciliation, and client onboarding.
Goldman's CIO said they were "surprised" at how capable Claude was at tasks beyond coding, especially in areas that combine parsing large amounts of data while applying rules and judgment. The bank expects to launch the agents "soon" and is exploring expansion into employee surveillance and investment banking pitchbooks.
Goldman's CEO said in October the bank would "constrain headcount growth" as part of a multiyear plan to reorganize around generative AI. The CIO called it "premature" to expect job losses but acknowledged they could cut third-party providers as the technology matures.
My Take
"Premature to expect job losses" and "constrain headcount growth" in the same announcement is corporate speak for we're not firing anyone today but we're not hiring their replacements tomorrow. Goldman employs thousands in compliance and accounting. If AI agents can collapse the time these functions take, the math is straightforward even if the timeline isn't.
What caught my attention is the surprise that Claude works beyond coding. They tested it for software engineering and found it handled rules-based work like accounting and compliance just as well. That's the SaaS disruption story playing out inside a bank. The same capabilities hitting legal software stocks this week are now being deployed against back-office functions at one of the largest financial institutions in the world. An IT veteran with 20 years experience said he's never seen anything like the disruption already underway. The question isn't whether these roles change. It's how fast, and whether anyone has a plan for the people currently doing the work.

Until the AI market cools I think we can assume that Nvidia will not release a single new series.

Breaking: Microsoft admits Windows 11 is a broken mess, and is genuinely planning to improve performance, reliability, and address bugs in the coming months.
Microsoft plans to address core issues of Windows 11, and this process is internally called "swarming.”
Core issues include performance, dark mode, neglected parts of the OS, and File Explorer, among other buggy areas of Windows 11.
"The feedback we’re receiving from our community of passionate customers and Windows Insiders has been clear. We need to improve Windows in ways that are meaningful for people,” says Pavan Davuluri, president of Windows and devices, in a statement to Tom Warren of The Verge.
"Trust is earned over time, and we are committed to building it back with the Windows community,” says Microsoft's Windows boss.
From all I can gather the PU is simplified this year, is there something more going on here?
Ollie Bearman: “We had a small issue but that’s what this is all about. We expect to have these issues. Everybody’s learning the car, the new bits & procedures. The problem we have that would have taken maybe 30 minutes with last year’s car since everybody knew it so well took a lot longer just because there’s a few intricate
details & there’s just so much more to the power unit compared to what we’ve been used to.”

Ja, du läste rätt. Omvänd klimatpolitik från Bryssel och regeringen sitter på händerna och tittar på. Snart är allt ”Made in China”

This seems odd to me, if AI represents a shift in military power I don't see why any military would announce what model or provider they are cooperating with.
