Well as predicted, Cadent have come, destroyed less than 3 year old paving and left off leaving tarmac to blight the area. Another one to add to the list
So Cadent have absolutely DESTROYED the block paving on Waterloo Street in two separate areas, so just like Colmore Row, prepare for these areas to be replaced with tarmac for the foreseeable future. Fed up of finally getting improvements to the City just for them to be ruined.

I tried 3 times to get an NHS appointment to discuss the results from my assessment. Once I messed up and missed the date and had to ask to reschedule. The two other times -despite waiting online- the specialist didn’t keep the appointment. They then threw me off the waiting list
Its fine, there isn't really any actual support for neurological disability in adulthood anyway, Daniel's mum just hasn't realise that yet. The cost to the global economy of not treating & supporting ADHD *alone* is estimated to be $123 billion/yr in costs incurred elsewhere.

Excl: ADHD and autism are not widely overdiagnosed in the UK, a major Government review is expected to find. The report is set to conclude that growing numbers are incentivised to seek an official diagnosis because support can be hard to get without one. inews.co.uk/news/claims-mass…

So... for those not keeping score. He'll retain Shabana's racist, nativist nonsense. He'll retain Reeves' austerity economics. He'll retain Starmer's foreign policy positions. What exactly is the point of Andy Starmer (sorry, Burnham) becoming Prime Minister? No change at all.

Shabana Mahmood, we’re told will get a senior position in an Andy Burnham government. She needs to explain this strange and worrying decision, and Andy Burnham needs to make his view clear.

So mostly shit coffee and food options. When you think about all the great cafés and restaurants we have in Brum, and yet we see none of them on campus.
University Birmingham now has its own station, a Wetherspoons, 3 Costas, a Starbucks, a subway, and no bookshop.

I hope this isn’t true. There are times when it’s more important to put country before party. This is one of them. Burnham’s longstanding commitment to a fairer voting system could transform our democracy & counter dire threat of a Reform UK government theguardian.com/politics/202…

More prime ministers were educated at Mason College, the ancestor of Birmingham University, than any English university outside Oxbridge.
What historical fact sounds fake but is true?

In contradiction to much popular wisdom, language loss is not an inevitable, spontaneous trend, caused by globalization, modernization, or technological progress. It is the outcome of deliberate policies and practices that aim to eliminate diversity. politicsrights.com/state-sov…

There really is no need for the catastrophic redundancies hitting our university sector. The UK is an educational powerhouse and its resources are being squandered.
