Charlie Kirk died with a microphone in his hand—not a gun, a knife, or a grenade, but an instrument of communication. When we stop believing in the dignity of the human person, violence takes its place. A year later, that is still the wound. May he rest in peace.

The Trump SBA recognizes that American battle readiness depends on Main Street small businesses. That’s why we are now prioritizing processing for 8(a) applicants in defense-critical industries.
This change will strengthen domestic supply chains by fast-tracking defense-critical firms, helping reinforce the world’s most resilient defense industrial base and backing the world’s strongest military.

In the digital age, a just social order guarantees everyone equal access to opportunities, protects the youngest and weakest members of society, combats hate and misinformation and subjects the use of data and technology to public oversight, so that the guiding principle is not solely profit but the dignity of every person and the common good of all people.

SBA just put out an RFI for a potential grant program.
They're asking the public to identify supply chain gaps and choke points that, if unlocked, would rapidly expand domestic production and national resilience.
Tell them, and likely the other agencies watching, where.
Also tell your friends. Comments due May 18, 2026.

Brattleboro flies under the radar, but with 60+ galleries, one of the country’s oldest co-ops, and a monthly Gallery Walk that turns downtown into a block party, it’s easy to see why some call it Vermont’s Berkeley.
