Listen to the guy in charge of taxis and rideshare in DC tell you why cars are bad. 🤬
Director Rogers shared his morning commute for the #WeekWithoutDriving. Are you paying a Transportation Time Tax? 🤑🚌🚖@ggwash
Don’t be fooled into thinking that the phrase “could face fines” means anything close to “will face fines.”
Also, note how there’s no penalty for 🚲 left in either the street or in parking spaces. They love to make it harder to drive, so this tracks.
Yet another stat proving 🚴♀️ are responsible for the vast majority of the accidents they’re involved in. #ItsNotUsItsYou
Eliminated 285 parking spots for a bike lane that planners kept ‘forgetting’ to include in plans & meetings regarding the project. 🤬
If the cost incurred by a city the size of LA is $33 per bikeshare ride, how in the world can anyone justify rental bikes as a wise use of public dollars in all but the most niche cases?

This is who runs for office these days: thinly veiled deep state creeps who care more about 🚲 & 🇺🇦 than they do about normal constituents or the USA. #GetToKnowYourANC

Media admits the truth.
* Urbanist halo exists for bikes and scooters
* Kids & scofflaws often are riding these things badly
* Sidewalk rules are dumb
Even after cataloging all of these realities, the author still can’t find a way to come close to fully condemning the problem.
How do these loons not see how broken their logic is?
Why does no one in their life point it out to them?
The first word in this loser’s bio is AUTOMOTIVE, yet he constantly posts about eliminating cars. 🤕

Ed has “had zero accidents with one exception.” 🤨
Pedalphiles are incapable of being straightforward.
Why? Cuz #BikePeopleLie
Ultimate proof speed cams are predatory budget-padding tools meant to punish car use.
Brand new Malibu ones issue 7.6 TIX PER MINUTE. That’s 17% of all cars that drive there!
How is this possible?
They extended ‘temporary’ 25mph limit in area drivers are used to being 45mph.😈
Why do so many 🚴♂️ parents insist on putting their kids in harm’s way?
This kid wobbled on the edge of two lanes on a busy road with a lot of conflict points. Why his dad chose to ride in FRONT of him makes even less sense.
If anything had happened, who would the media blame? 😡
The neverending push for more housing (despite countless vacant homes existing in every city) is inextricably linked to the elimination of parking.
Seven 🚘 spots for likely fifty adults living (where a parking lot used to be!) next to a suburban highway?
YIMBYs are a cancer.
Listen to this corrupt politician callously dismiss (then silence) a pregnant woman whose life was turned upside down by a bike. 👹

The public testimonies for @nyccouncil hearing on e-bike regulations
This testimony by Tonette Rivera was the most essential at the nearly 11 hour hearing on the 23 bills. She wanted to know why more emphasis was placed on making more ebike infrastructure and blaming app companies when the onus on ebike safety should have been focused on the people who drive them. She was speaking of her lived experience being forced to birth her baby prematurely after getting plowed by a hit and run ebike driver. Who she said resembled all the delivery workers who showed up to testify against some of the bills
When she finished @cmshaunabreu defended those men and in essence the man who injured her by saying "immigrants get the job done" then had city council security forcibly remove her as she was seeing her own way out.
About those men...
They showed up later in the afternoon all at the same time and were brought in by @workersjusticep @losdeliveristas and @transalt (notice lobbyists @jacobi_emily94 and anna berlanga) LD lobbyist Anthony Solis is handing out copies of scripted testimonies to a long line of African delivery workers who were being exploited to astroturf the hearing and they all got called before me even though I signed in 10 am.
Tonette was also there telling @Chrislejohnyc her horrific story of the ebike driver who crashed into her and fled and all those men mocked her by thanking her for all the free services they got from the city for being illegal immigrant asylum seekers. She also makes an excellent point on how these men are driving motor vehicles and organized as a union without insurance
But the thing is, WJP and los deliveristas are not a real union. They are lobbyists who act as "partners of the city"
She was part of the last panel that testified and suddenly Abreu announced the hearing would be moved into a conference room. Because the chambers had to be used for a pizza party event.
This is where I still had to wait because the whole room was filled with the WJP astroturfing delivery workers
Important note: filming the public testimony of the hearing is forbidden by the speaker and chair of these commitees and this is clearly the reason why. Because they want to repress any dissent on social media in real time and outside city hall.
Bike messaging is notably strange, as evidenced here.
Let’s suspend reality and pretend there are even a fraction of a million reasons to be a cargo bike parent. Why elevate ‘staring at a demolished home’ to the #1 spot in your company ad?
The industry is a joke. 🤡
In episode 945723 of “Special Rules,” the cast is forced to risk their lives riding subways with potentially explosive 🛴 devices to & from a game.
Doesn’t matter that cheaply-made stuff sparks hard-to-extinguish🔥 regularly.
Safety of the many must bow to the needs of the few.
Herndon politician wants to get residents out of their cars in textbook suburbia.
Mind you, she tells you this from INSIDE HER CAR while wearing an outfit meant to signal 🏳️⚧️ to a mosque she felt “uncomfortable” in.
Her site has 🏳️⚧️ scheme along with “trans-” theme.

This lady (known for making cargo cycling her whole personality) had her child get run over by a stranger on a bicycle.
Who does she blame most? A witness with “car brain.”
