ππ Back-to-back baby! ππ
Delighted to see our 2οΈβ£ latest works on @A_baumannii #lipidbiology published in @mBiojournal
Fantastic efforts by everyone involved βΌοΈ
Definitely is the icing on the cake π§ for my official last day before I go on maternity leave π₯³π₯³
2 papers from the lab in @mbiojournal todayπ In a huge collaborative effort, we reveal how @A_baumannii steals host fatty acids during infection doi.org/10.1128/mBio.00928-2β¦ and that some host fatty acids affect the structure&function of the efflux pump AdeB doi.org/10.1128/mBio.01070-2β¦

What a great way to end the week for the @WestmeadInst @Iredell_Lab team - the first oral #phages shipped to the first rural hospital under #STAMP!
Excited to see how the phages travel and the outcomes they may have on #AMR infections.

Yesterday marked the end of an era! Last day in the @EijkelkampLab π₯²
Over the past 4 years, I finished my PhD, survived a pandemic, had a baby, published 10 papers & had so much fun along the way!
I leave feeling proud & excited for the next chapter, what ever that may be! β¨
What a great day at the @AdelaideProtein awards fest! So nice to catch-up with old friends and acquaintances and learn about some cool science π§¬
A big shout out to my dear friend @alice_ascari for winning the peoples choice award! ππ½
