Monday Milne.
"No two trees - no two leaves - are ever exactly alike. No plant - no flower - ever perfectly symmetrical. Repetition, yet with a slight difference. Variety, yet with conformity. This is how we expect it. This is how we love it. This is beauty." ~ C.R.Milne #nature #autumn #trees

Because there's been a lack of Puffins on my feed this year as I wasn't able to get on Skomer Island this summer... here's one from 2022 that I hadn't shared before. 😍😊🐦

Wildlife doesn't like 'tidy'... in fact it NEEDS 'untidy' to survive! Before you mow, clear weeds, prune hedges, etc...just think... do you really need to make your garden tidy? 🤔 Could you at least leave part of your garden wild? Gardens are so important to wildlife!🙏

No, no and more no. Who benefits and who suffers? We already have data centres for AI and the Cloud, Amazon etc so why do we need more and more? #DataCenter #datacentres #Devon

Britain had about 30 million hedgehogs in the 1950s; we've got under 875,000 today. The population has dropped by about 97%. Shocking.

I look a touch manic in the still for this video, but if you can get past that it was great to be invited onto @DoubleDownNews to talk about how we got into the housing mess we're in and where we're going in the future: youtube.com/watch?v=Owaq_na2…

You don’t find it weird that not a single billionaire wants to end world poverty? Doesn’t it strike you as bizarre that no one with that kind of wealth wants to be the hero who actually solves the world’s biggest problems when they literally could? Isn’t that suspicious?

This is what we've come to. A retired couple had to spend £1m of their own money taking both the @EnvAgency and @NaturalEngland to the High Court simply to force both of these charlatans to do their job, safeguard one of our nation's most legally heavily protected bits of countryside. And the environment charities does what exactly? thetimes.com/uk/environment/…

If you're feeling the worries and noise of the world at the moment, I'm sending you this beautiful walk among the chestnut trees, the pale sun flickering through the leaves and falling in pools of light on the ground. The river is sparkling at the end of the lane, and all around the birds are singing out into the morning as the mist clears. I hope it brings a little Peak District calm to your day. 📍 Peak District, England

The people in charge are either utterly stupid or bought and paved for by big donors. #labour #environment #greenbelt #DataCenter #trees
The £billions that the Labour government want to spend on carbon capture machines are a total waste of money. Nature developed this natural and beautiful carbon capture machine over millions of years. Let's plant more of them. 🌳
