During Kenyatta II regime, Dangote had a plan to establish a cement factory in Kitui County before being frustrated and decided to move to Tz I don't know if this is the same location that he had in mind that Devki has taken the chance to establish one
I warmly invite you to join us for the groundbreaking ceremony of the National Cement Company Limited Clinker and Cement Plant in Ngaaie, Kitui County. This milestone marks an important step in advancing Kenya’s industrial development and expanding local manufacturing capacity. Your presence will be a valued part of this occasion as we embark on a project set to create new opportunities and contribute to the economic growth of the Ukambani region. I look forward to sharing this significant moment with you. #DevkiGroup #NationalCement #SimbaCement #GroundbreakingCeremony #KituiCounty

@kinjeketile is there any chance we see Kenya Railways expand here? Will this somehow force government to reconsider the Coal plant for Energy supply?

For me , when it comes to the Election Amendment bill I think this is where the juice of the Bill is at National Assembly/MPs are making it more harder to recall them by adding more requirements

KBC can turn this to an income generation idea Create a library/Archive system for researchers or student's interested in Kenyan History I believe @AnganaKeith said Nation Media had a section where you can look for archival newspapers Sijui kama wako na video clip's!
In Baba .@RailaOdinga's final days, I noticed a deep sense of nostalgia whenever he spoke about his father, Jaramogi. 3 months before his passing, he tasked me with retrieving archival video footage of his father from the @KBCChannel1 where I was serving on the Board of Directors

Might also overthink and say the current Lecturer's strike in Kenya if not addressed soon will see University student's join in
If it keeps going at this rate, we might, for (I think) the first time in history, be about to witness the first continent-wide youth revolt in Europe - a "European spring" of sorts. The sheer number of countries where it's **already** happening is pretty overwhelming. I count 8, including 4 with violent clashes: - France, famously - Albania (see below) with daily clashes in Tirana and a government building set alight - Belgium: the French movement spilled over, including riots in Liège - Italy: "No Meloni Day" student protests since 16 October, turning into riots in Milan, Turin and Bologna - Greece: students camping in Athens' Syntagma Square over housing and education costs, explicitly inspired by France - Germany: pupils blockading schools in Berlin and Hamburg in solidarity with France - Spain: an indefinite education strike in Madrid, with students marching alongside teachers and families - Serbia: the student movement born from the 2024 Novi Sad station collapse is now running its own list in the 25 October election And, by the way, the fact it's also happening in countries with close to no immigration - like Albania - goes to show how reductive it is to label these movements, like JD Vance and Trump did with France, as the fruit of "the migrants hav[ing] taken over." As is often the case, it's much more a story of "it's the economy, stupid." As such, Trump with his war on Iran, has ironically done much more to fuel this (pun intended) than any migrant.

Oginga was never a communist Prior being a politician,Oginga was a successful businessman and even used part of his Money to sponsor Jomo Jomo even told Oginga he was better as a businessperson compared to a politico The only true communist/socialist was Bildad Kaggia
Unfortunately, Oginga & co. would have taken us through the pernicious tentacles of communism & majimboism. If we went back in time and had to choose between the two, it’s definitely the capitalist, more western leaning Yung Jomo.

The multi-agency team today continued operations along Ndovu Lane, Parklands, following the issuance of notices to clear buildings constructed on top of the river channel. The exercise is part of ongoing river restoration efforts. #NairobiRiversRiverRegeneration

Bishop Margaret Wanjiru felt the work of this commission to be non consequential for her desire to be a Nairobi politico and yet if we're a serious county ,the work of this commission if steered well should be enough to show someone capability to run the capital city
A multi-agency team has commenced works at Nairobi Dam, marking a key milestone in efforts to restore the dam&strengthen flood preparedness. The ongoing emergency spillway works will help mitigate flood risks while paving the way for the broader Nairobi Dam restoration programme

In 2022 WSR said he's a student of Kibaki and will use Kibaki menu to rescue Kenya's economic fortune Today at handing over of Mausoleum in Bondo, he argued that he's a student of Raila desire to have infrastructure built in every corner of the corner

So for the few rhetorics made by politicians it seems 1. Moi remains to be Kenya "master politician" 2.Kibaki -Kenya's Economic Guy 3. Raila -Kenya's" Infrastructure master" Kenyatta 1 and Kenyatta 2 would be great to know where they should be placed in their mastery of Kenya
