ā–ŗ TAO's Subnets For The Robotics Era everyone on CT is talking about $TAO but almost nobody is paying attention to the part of the TAO eco that actually touches the physical world. that's the TAO subnets shipping the robotics era. I've named them here šŸ‘‡šŸ» 1/ @kinitroai | SN26: generalist robot policy training researchers compete to submit policies evaluated across arm manipulation and Unitree G1 humanoid locomotion. only policies that generalize across all environments earn emissions, specialists get penalized. 2/ @SwarmSubnet | SN124: autonomous drone flight miners submit RL policies, validators test in physics simulator. completed first autonomous mountain drone flight 100 days post-launch. goal: 10,000 drones deployed. 3/ @NATIXNetwork | SN72: real-world perception data for physical AI. ingests street imagery from smartphones + dashcams, miners train detection models, best models feed back into NATIX's live edge network. backed by Yuma (DCG). 4/ @Loosh_ai | SN78: cognitive layer for robots persistent memory, ethical judgment, emotional intelligence. EEG model hitting ~70% accuracy on emotional state prediction. Yuma Subnet Accelerator incubatee. 5/ @nepher_robotics | SN49: decentralized robotics-tournament subnet. Miners upload policies; validators run them in NVIDIA Isaac Lab sims. Winner-takes-all weight split. --- Subnets that supporting the #Robotic stack: 6/ @404gen_ | SN17: text-to-3D generation. 21.5M open-source 3D models on Hugging Face. feeds robot simulation + digital twin pipelines. 7/ ChipForge @TatsuEcosystem | SN84: decentralized chip design. building Edge AI accelerators + NPUs - the silicon profile robots actually need. most people sleep on this because robotics feels abstract and far away, but as I said, robotics is the next after #AI rally! the market hasn't priced this in yet.

We’ve been saying we’re building. As we step into April, it’s time to tick off Q1: memory, agent architecture, and core systems in place. From here, the system starts to expand into personas, inference, and cognition. Step by step, it’s coming together.

For anyone curious: we heard back from the CEO of Boston Dynamics and learned they are building their own version of what we’ve built This means that we are in the right arena and able to speak competitively to teams that have massive budgets This also means that it gives us angle for companies who are smaller, lack the enterprise budget, and want to compete in the humanoid space with Boston Dynamics Our next step: - upgrading the heuristic engine so it’s able to generate dynamic execution - memory recall ethical analysis - consent bound agency (white paper about this coming soon) - mutual consent model for autonomous agency This update will be dramatically more sophisticated than our current v1 with real agentic capabilities Users will see a significant different in model output in v2 which sets the stage for our path to integration with ROS 2 - robotics operating system featuring Loosh cognition middleware

more robots = better. robotics teams often fixate on model quality, but deployment density is what is actually going to drive scale. sparse deployment (e.g small pilots) creates a false sense of progress. every failure looks like an edge case, leading to fragmented, local fixes. heavy deployments will totally change the learning regime. when errors repeat across sites, patterns become obvious. reliability is earned through real-world exposure tl;dr: whoever gets the most robots out there in the quickest time, wins

Yuma-accelerated Loosh (SN78) is the first Bittensor $TAO subnet focused on machine consciousness. Now live, the Loosh Cognition Engine is a window into how decentralized agent systems will think, reason, and act, and it offers a platform for builders to test edge cases using ethical evaluators. Test Loosh in beta: loosh.ai/beta
1/ Loosh Cognition Engine Beta is live on Subnet 78! This is the first public look at Loosh’s cognition layer for robotics and agentic systems, built to make reasoning, memory, and constraints observable. Not a chatbot, a real system you can inspect end to end.

Yesterday we had an AMA with @Loosh_ai subnet 78, here is the recap of our conversation with @AgenticToaster and the CEO of Loosh. Hope that helps everyone understand this company a little bit better. Humanoid hardware is basically here, we all see the Unitree videos, sometimes amazing, sometimes ā€œplease keep that away from my kids.ā€ The gap is not motors, it is cognition and ethics. LLMs are great text machines but they are still just pattern matchers, they do not actually understand right and wrong, so you cannot just bolt GPT onto a robot and hope for the best. Loosh wants to live exactly in that gap. Right now it ships as a chat agent, but under the hood it already runs their persistent memory, cognitive inference, dynamic execution and three early cognitive services around ethics. Closed beta is coming, then an API and SDK in Q1 so people can plug this into real robots or other agents. You can use the whole stack as an agent, or cherry-pick pieces like memory or ethics. The ethics engine was the most interesting part. It does not pretend there is one perfect rule set. It looks at actions through four lenses, deontology, virtue ethics, rights based ethics and utilitarianism, all wired into an ontology of rules, rights and utility scores. It evaluates an action across those four, wraps the result into a structured report and feeds that to the LLM, which still makes the final call but with much better context. Every interaction is then written back into narrative memory with outcomes, so over time the system is reasoning from both rules and experience, not just a static prompt. Their favorite example is the robot refusing to get vodka for an eleven year old and being able to explain why. On the emotional side they are very clear this is the hard part. They want robots to read pain, fear, stress, lying, tone and body language, and then express their own ā€œemotionā€ in a way that is relatable without being creepy. That is where their EEG plus audio and video work comes in, and the MIME layer that turns internal state into something like an R2D2 style expression, clearly readable but not fake human. From a business angle they already have a rough model, individual licenses around one thousand a year, business around ten thousand, and then a robotics SDK line for OEM partnerships. Numbers will move, but at least there is a path from ethics demo to revenue. My takeaway is that Loosh is not just slideware, the skeleton is real, ethics and memory are already running, emotional inference is the big hill. If they can turn this into the default ā€œethical and emotional brainā€ for the robots that are coming, this subnet could matter a lot. For now I want to see the closed beta in action and how the first SDK integrations look next year. $TAO

Loosh (SN78) is the angel on your AI agent's shoulder. The first Bittensor $TAO subnet focused on machine consciousness, Yuma-accelerated Loosh (SN78) is fusing inference, ethics, and memory to help robots and agentic AI act in a predictable and trustworthy way.
Loosh AI is excited to announce that we’ve been accepted into the @YumaGroup accelerator! We will be launching on Subnet 78! Together we are bringing forward a new type of Bittensor subnet turning world models into world aware robots. Our vision is to power the next generation of autonomous systems with a cognition engine, emotional inference, persistent memory layer, and ontological self-reflection that gives robots and agents memory, context, and continuity. Starting Wednesday, December 17th 2025 miners and validators will be invited to participate in running inference on our Cognitive services. Please see our github and like / follow to get updates as they happen github.com/Loosh-ai Thank you to the team at Yuma for supporting and guiding us these past few months. And thank you to the Bittensor community for supporting and following us, we are excited to start this journey with you all. LETS GO!

Quick update for the week: We have been recently connecting with more folks from the Bittensor community and we are grateful for their feedback and input. More than ever we are confident that TAO is the future of decentralized AI and there is no better choice for emerging projects requiring scale at launch to choose Bittensor as their platform. Software updates: @AgenticToaster has made significant progress with the narrative memory which is foundational for our codebase. We are down to the final task of practical memory which is part of our pilot program, this area is where users will be able to test the software. Organizational updates: we have made progress on interviewing new hires, and we are preparing to onboard our first developers. - our strategic partnerships with consciousness research and separately quantum research are reaching final negotiations and we hope to have a more formal update about these soon. We also realized this week that as much as we have been focusing on commercializing our software through robotics and what that pipeline looks like, our premise is and always will be understanding consciousness and to not be apprehensive about fully leaning into that. And so in that respect, in the words of Robert Monroe - "The greatest illusion is that mankind has limitations."

Dear Bittensor community, One of our fellow holders @LouiseBeattie has been subject to scam on a discord channel and has lost her $TAO in the process. This isn’t the first time we have seen this happen and I am sure it will not be the last. This could happen to anyone of us and it’s sad that anyone can be caught off guard and pay a dear price for it. She’s a lovely lady and is a positive voice within the ecosystem. She has set up a donation wallet and anything you can spare, whether Rao or Tao, to help recover some of these funds would be greatly appreciated. Wallet address is below and please share to all in Bittensor land 5Gjf9rhahEtYm5JNu61MH891dRizq8EUjjaq6mRgY2CD8KPR

This past weekend the Loosh team had the privilege of attending a conference that pushed the boundaries of science and consciousness. In the words of Tom Campbell, ā€œConsciousness is fundamental and from consciousness all else is derived. Discovering the coherent structure and logic of consciousness provides a fundamental understanding of our reality.ā€ At Loosh we feel very grateful to be working at the intersection of consciousness, AI, blockchain, and now Quantum computing.

We all will end up needing assistance toward the end of our lives. This is a HUGE reason why I'm so into spatial computing. Spent seven years in an old folks home with my mother in law who had a brain tumor and couldn't walk. A robot and a Vision Pro would have made her experience FAR more enjoyable. Good to see effort being put into this.
