The esteemed Allamah and Hafidh, Shaykh Nasir al-Fahd who has been imprisoned in a Al-Ha’ir prison for many years. His son, Musʿab ibn Nasir al-Fahd, describes the abuses inflicted upon his father, saying:
“I used to hear about the torture that takes place in prisons and thought it consisted of the usual forms of abuse, such as ordinary beatings, restrictions, being suspended, and similar things, until I learned of what I am now telling you.
Masked officers of the Emergency Forces entered the cell of my father, Nasir al-Fahd, and beat him. They then pinned him to the ground, bound his hands behind his back with a chain, and shackled his feet with two chains. They dragged him through the corridors on his back, pulling him by his hands. They then threw him face down, and one of them placed his foot on his head (may Allah sever it!). They unfastened his restraints, bound him again as shown in the picture, and left.
He (Shaykh Nasir al-Fahd) then summoned his strength and kept trying until he managed to free his right hand from its restraint. As for his left hand, he could not free it because it was paralyzed (may Allah paralyze their hands!). They returned during the night and loosened his restraints. His hand remained paralyzed for an entire month, and to this day, there is still numbness in the thumb of his left hand.
Another thing they did to him was make him sit on an extremely hot plate for four hours! He became severely ill as a result. He could not perform the prayer except through gestures, nor could he go to (the restroom) except by crawling on his stomach. And they did not treat him until after he had stopped eating for five days (this was not a hunger strike, but rather due to his incapacity!!).
They summoned him again recently and asked him to write an apology!! He refused to write anything, not even a signature.
And we have still not seen him or heard his voice for six years!!!”

To those who continue to defend the rulers, ask yourselves: Is it really worth defending those who treat the scholars in this manner, especially when this is only one of the many cases we have heard about? Is it worth defending those who have fallen into not just one, but multiple nullifiers of the Din?
At what point will people set aside partisanship and loyalty to individuals and give precedence to the Qur’an and Sunnah?

IF, and it's a big IF, the Bangladeshi man and woman, Nazrul Islam and Siti Akhtar, were indeed guilty of a crime deserving of a death penalty AND a Taghut like Saudi Arabia is a legitimate Islamic authority that can carry out Hudud and Ta'ziraat, that means those two Muslims paid for their crime in the Dunya and they potentially died cleaner than sinners who get away with their crimes every day.
Regarding a woman who had been stoned to death for adultery and sentenced by the Prophet SAWS himself:
Khalid bin Walid came forward with a stone which he flung at her head and there spurted blood on the face of Khalid and so he abused her. Allah's Apostle SAWS heard his (Khalid's) curse that he had hurled upon her. Thereupon he (the Prophet) said:
"Khalid, be gentle. By Him in Whose Hand is my life, she has made such a repentance that even if a wrongful tax-collector were to repent, he would have been forgiven."
Then giving command regarding her, he prayed over her and she was buried.

The reason this statement of the Prophet SAWS is so significant in its signaling a great amount of forgiveness for the adulteress who had the Hadd punishment carried out on her is because of the following Hadith:

اس معاملے کو لے کر جھوٹی باتیں پھیلائی جا رہی ہیں۔ کوئی انہیں میاں بیوی بتا رہا ہے، تو کوئی کہہ رہا ہے کہ ان کی آٹھ سالہ بیٹی بھی ہے، جبکہ کچھ لوگ انہیں حجاج قرار دے رہے ہیں۔
یہ واقعہ کب اور کہاں پیش آیا، اس بارے میں سعودی عرب کی حکومت نے کسی کو کوئی معلومات نہیں دیں اور مکمل رازداری برقرار رکھی گئی۔ تاہم، بنگلہ دیشی میڈیا کی رپورٹوں کے مطابق، نذرالاسلام نومبر 2022 میں کلینر کے طور پر کام کرنے کے لیے سعودی عرب گیا تھا، جبکہ سیتی اختر بھی وہیں سعودی عرب میں کام کر رہی تھیں۔

گرفتاری کے بعد دونوں نے سعودی جیل میں تین سال سے زیادہ عرصہ گزارا۔ اس دوران اس حساس معاملے کی قانونی تحقیقات ہوئیں اور جدہ کی عدالت میں تین سال تک مقدمے کی سماعت جاری رہی۔
عدالت کی جانب سے مجرم قرار دیے جانے اور شاہی حکم جاری ہونے کے بعد، 14 اکتوبر 2026، بروز بدھ، مکہ ریجن میں دونوں کو پھانسی دے دی گئی۔ پھر 18 اکتوبر کو ان دونوں کی لاشیں بنگلہ دیش بھیج دی گئیں۔
درحقیقت، مقدس شہر مکہ مکرمہ کی ہر مسجد کا اپنا احترام ہے، کیونکہ ان میں سے ہر مسجد کسی نہ کسی حوالے سے نبی کریم حضرت محمد ﷺ کی تاریخ اور آپ سے وابستہ واقعات کی یادیں سمیٹے ہوئے ہے۔ اسی لیے مکہ کی مساجد کے لیے خصوصی ضابطے مقرر ہیں.
سعودی عرب کے ’’پبلک ڈیسینسی قانون‘‘ (Public Decency Law) کے تحت عوامی مقامات، جن میں مساجد بھی شامل ہیں، پر فحش اور جنسی نوعیت کے رویے پر جرمانہ عائد کیا جاتا ہے۔
لیکن مکہ کی مساجد میں، بالخصوص جنسی نوعیت کی فحش حرکت کے ذریعے مسجد کے تقدس کی پامالی کا معاملہ ’’تعزیر‘‘ کے تحت انتہائی سنگین ہو جاتا ہے، اور اس کی سزا موت تک ہو سکتی ہے، جیسا کہ بنگلہ دیشی جوڑے کے معاملے میں ہوا۔
سعودی عرب کی وزارتِ داخلہ کے سرکاری بیان کے مطابق، نذرالاسلام عبدالبصیر اور سیتی اختر نے مکہ کی ایک مسجد کے اندر ’’فعل الفاحشہ‘‘ یعنی سنگین نوعیت کی جنسی فحش حرکت کا ارتکاب کیا تھا۔
جبکہ بعض رپورٹوں میں اسے ’’جنسی بے راہ روی‘‘، ’’فحش کاری‘‘ یا ’’زنا‘‘ قرار دیا گیا ہے۔ ایک دو میڈیا رپورٹوں میں ’’مسجد کے اندر جنسی تعلق قائم کرنے‘‘ کا ذکر بھی آیا ہے۔
زیادہ تر معتبر رپورٹوں میں اس واقعے کو مسجد کے اندر جنسی تعلق قائم کرنے یا ناجائز جنسی فعل کے طور پر سمجھا اور رپورٹ کیا گیا ہے۔
بتائیے، کیا یہ لوگ یہ سب کرنے کے لیے مکہ گئے تھے؟ حد ہے!
مسجد کے تقدس اور مقام، دونوں کی پامالی کے باعث، تعزیری قانون کے تحت زنا کے الزامات ثابت ہونے پر حکومت نے انہیں سزائے موت دے دی۔
بنگلہ دیش کی وزیر مملکت برائے امورِ خارجہ، شاما عباید اسلام نے 17 اکتوبر 2026 کو بتایا تھا کہ سعودی عرب میں بنگلہ دیشی مشن کے لیبر ونگ کی جانب سے ایک پیغام موصول ہوا تھا، جس میں بتایا گیا کہ یہ دونوں مکہ کی ایک مسجد کے اندر ’’زنا‘‘ میں ملوث تھے۔ ان کے خلاف تین سال تک مقدمہ چلا اور مجرم ثابت ہونے پر انہیں سزائے موت دے دی گئی۔
اور ہاں، یہ دونوں میاں بیوی بھی نہیں تھے۔
