it’s awful
It’s common practice when a team wins for the first time in ages to offer employees of every type rings. If they’re not doing that — and using that sore spot to run a security test, it says a lot. I’d quit.
You get into sports partially for rings.

I gotta say I eventually and foolishly quit over much less
If this happened to me when I was working in sports in my 20s, I would have quit on the spot. What the hell is this?

I’m told she has a broken rib, her hand will need surgery, stitches in her lower back, her leg is in pretty rough shape and various other bruises and injuries from being beaten with a stick and kicked so many times. Hence the hospital.
Nice of you to be so genuinely concerned.

Because I think anyone who would defend that (obviously heinous) practice is probably not swayed by my tweeting but I have seen people within my community defending or downplaying Hilltop Youth-style violence like this. Thanks for your good faith question, man.
grotesque. there oughta be universal condemnation
decades in war zones and @Heidiphotos first major injury comes from masked settlers.
Dozens of masked Israeli settlers attacked Palestinian villagers trying to gather their autumn olive harvest. Heidi Levine, a veteran photographer for The Post, was also knocked her to the ground, kicked repeatedly and stripped of her camera and phone.

What’s sarcastic? It’s very cool. Wish I had my ancestors’ papers.

Sorry, man. No names were changed at Ellis Island, ever. Either someone in your family lied or they just fudged up the truth a little and Ellis Island is shorthand for a different interaction — most likely a voluntary one.

Please check the link. It never happened partially because agents there didn’t have the power to change your name. I’m sorry. Our family stories are important to who we are.

They changed their name on the passenger manifest paperwork, not their legal identity, but if you’re going to try to poke a hole in the argument, it’s your best bet. I respect it as a fellow pedantic, but it doesn’t really hold.

You gotta get to the bottom of the thread, achi.

You’re right, but the sources at the end of the thread do.
