A Twitter account live tweeting world events from 2001 in real-time can’t ignore Craig Bellamy scoring the only ever recorded hat-trick by a substitute for Newcastle United ‘tomorrow’.

No other sport is like this, it’s a bit insane that everyone just accepts it in football

Every morning there a breakthrough on the Bruno situation.. Around midday that gets denied.
Every bastard day forever and ever until we just fucking give in. Give these people what they fucking want.
You can quickly see the same tactic employed with Lewis Hall a mile off..

Nah I'm sorry this is fucking dogshit, I know people will be happy hes gone, but the time, the way in which it has happened, and replacing him with someone I have literally never heard of. This is a fucking disaster.

Newcastle have conceded 20 goals in the final 15 minutes of their games this season - more than any other side in the Premier League.

‘Congratulations Bournemouth. You’ve finally made it into Europe.
Here’s how we’re making sure that won’t happen again.’
One of, if not the smartest recruitment strategies in the Premier League.
Absolute insanity.
🚨Bournemouth's likely UEFA qualification is, perversely, about to trigger a raft of SCR issues. Champions League will be lucrative enough to fix any issues, Europa and Conference may not.
Even with their huge recent trading profits, a 70% SCR cap will be very hard to comply with (both at UEFA and PL levels). Remember Bournemouth were one of the vocal dissenters to the SCR implementation. One to watch.

True fact: It is against EU law for a Champions League knockout game not to have someone doing this at some point after conceding a goal
"Dan's never let us down in that position”
Eddie Howe on why he benched Lewis Hall:
"It's always a difficult decision because Lewis is an outstanding player and you never for any second doubt his qualities and what he can bring to the team, but I felt today for a number of reasons that Dan was the right pick in terms of height and physicality and dealing with Arsenal's threats.
"Dan's never let us down in that position. He plays it very differently to Lewis. But I thought that was the right call for this game."
