Absolute carnage at Sestao RC as they knocked Espanyol out of the Copa del Rey last night! 🤩 We always talk about the magic of the Cup here in the UK, but the Copa del Rey produces some truly extraordinary moments.

Marcelo Bielsa on modern football: “I am sure that football is in a process of decline. “It is becoming less and less attractive because what made it the best game in the world is not there anymore. “If you let a lot of people watch football, but you don't protect the pleasure of what they watch, that favours business, because the business is that a lot of people watch football. “For me, the introduction of technology like VAR does a lot of harm to football. “This sport has a particularity: when it becomes completely predictable, it loses its appeal. “As time passes, as fewer and fewer footballers are worth watching and as the game produced is less and less enjoyable, this artificial increase in the number of spectators will be interrupted.” Good to see people like him calling it out 👏

I went to the Beat Luke Littler auditions and queued with John Steele, who travelled from South Africa! He had a great story and got through to the final 100. Sadly he's not in a top line-up that includes talent like Mitchell Lawrie and Fallon Sherrock!

Think you could beat Luke Littler? This lot certainly do. 🎯 BEAT LUKE LITTLER. 30 October, 7PM. LIVE only on Netflix.

This is heartbreaking to watch 🥺💔 Mark Allen admits he may never play snooker again. We’re all rooting for you, Mark 🙏❤️

Enzo Maresca loves the inflatable bananas! 🍌

🚨 OFFICIAL: Lisandro Martínez releases new statement after meeting with Carrick and club directors. “Today I met with the club’s leadership and the manager. It was a very positive conversation, where we were able to exchange views and speak openly about what happened after the game”. “Everyone knows that I am a passionate person and that I live football with great intensity. The frustration of the defeat led me to express how I felt at a time and place that perhaps were not the right ones, and for that I want to apologise”. “Our club is at its best when we are all united, and I recognise that my words in that moment did not help with that”. “I know that every single person at Manchester United is doing everything possible to achieve our shared ambition: bringing the success that this club and its supporters deserve”. “With this situation now behind us, we are fully focused on winning together”.

Lisandro Martinez has released a statement on Instagram following his controversial post-match interview 📲

Enjoyed that. Great to see City lose
