Breaking tonight: Cornell officials say they don’t know if the $1 billion reported by NYT is correct, but confirmed 75 stop work orders from the Department of Defense on a wide, wide range of research.

“Instead of delivering a gracious victory speech and working to unite the district, Anthony Constantino launched into a profanity laced tirade, had a reporter removed and stood by as his friend tried to lead the crowd in profane chants against the media. Constantino then spent the early morning hours sending vile text messages to Republicans and elected officials, including me, around 3:15 a.m.
I will not be intimidated into resigning because he demands it on X. My fellow chairs and I work tirelessly for our committees and candidates, and we will continue that work.
Leadership requires building bridges, Constantino continues to burn them. He bears responsibility for turning a heavily Republican district, with nearly a 100,000 voter Republican enrollment advantage, into a race he barely led by two- percentage points, despite spending $17 million.”
Here is a screenshot of what unhinged congressman elect Constantino sent to me in the early morning hours after election night. This is not leadership….
Anthony Constantino crashed out on Twitter and in his text messages to local Republicans last night as he had the worst margins for a Republican in #NY21 in 12 years.
A battle between the presumptive Congressman and his local party leaders is brewing.

That’s when @constantino turned up the heat, and revealed the real theme of his remarks: Attacking the press, and calling out individual reporters from the stage.
I was the first.
“Sometimes the evil media, particularly Kate Lisa, they call (Stone) an ‘asshole,’” Constantino said, referring to a story I wrote last week about Stone encouraging him to exude more kindness to woo voters.
“He’s probably the nicest person I met in politics, and I got to be honest with you, I think Kate Lisa is an asshole,” Constantino continued less than 3 minutes into his celebratory remarks. “She is. You shouldn’t call people assholes, Kate. It makes you an asshole.”

.@Constantino’s victory speech last night is making waves and being widely shared online — and for good reason.
A thread:

AC is not telling the truth about his decision to remove a reporter from his election night party. I watched Garrett stay neutral as AC attacked him and as a party-goer got in Garrett’s face aggressively.
Anthony wanted to look tough, and picked on the first reporter he saw.

These are the first post-victory posts from the Congressman-Elect for #NY21, crashing out about the general GOP failures in NY last night and the media.

From my point of view, Domblewski handled this difficult (and utterly insane) moment as gracefully as could be expected.
Replying to @AllegedButler
More fun: around halfway through his speech, Constantino pointed out WWNY assistant news director Garrett Domblewski for a bunch of direct but vague attacks about “being an asshole.” Failing to get a reaction, Constantino then sicced security on Domblewski and had him removed.

Drama at the Constantino party; after calling him an asshole, Constantino has the reporter here for WWNY, Channel 7 removed.
One of the few Republicans to emerge victorious yesterday, here’s the moment when Sticker Mule CEO Anthony Constantino, calling for President Trump to “consider freeing Diddy” during his victory speech after pulling out a narrow win for a House of Representatives seat #NY21

I’m in New York’s 21st Congressional District today doing some @nypost freelancing on the race for outgoing Rep. Elise Stefanik’s House seat between Democrat Blake Gendebien and Republican Anthony Constantino. Come to Johnstown or Groversville if you want to talk or spar.
With about 157,000 votes counted, Gendebien's lead over Constantino has shrunk to about 6,000 votes. It's around a 4.5 percentage point margin.

Some early results in #NY21 that are good for Democrat Blake Gendebien:
++ He leads overall in numbers that include lots of early voting
++ With all precincts reporting, Gendebien has beat Republican Anthony Constantino in Herkimer and Washington counties

Interesting place for a midterm rally.
In this media market: NY-22 (D incumbent, not very competitive), NY-24 (R held, not competitive), NY-19 (D held, not very competitive).
Syracuse for a Trump rally was definitely not on my board - it will happen this Friday syracuse.com/politics/cny/20…
This is Cereese Qusba, the hero investigative journalist for the Cornell Daily Sun who doggedly pursued the story about the Cornell 7 for two years, blowing the lid off what had happened when her article was finally published on the 19th..
With so many dark posts about such a horrific incident, Ms. Qusba’s work shows the importance of journalism in accountability. She is the best of Cornell.
There’s obviously a healthy lifestyle component to this, but *everyone* should be getting their lipoprotein(a) levels tested. It’s very genetic and you can’t really change your level, but if it’s high you should know now. I’m not sure many non-specialist doctors are onto it yet.
