The Nasdaq 100 ETF $QQQ dumped from up +0.8% after hours to down -0.8%, even after strong earnings from $AMD and Arista Network $ANET.
What changed was midterm election results starting to come in, with traders speculating that Democrats are headed for big wins.
The fear is that a large Democratic Senate majority could bring more limits on data centers, which would weigh on AI stocks.
Kalshiβs Senate forecast has Democrats at 53 seats and Republicans at 46 tonight.
Whoever wins, advertising wins, with a record $11.6B in midterm ad spend.
Iβm bullish on Google $GOOGL at $82B in quarterly ad revenue, Meta $META growing ad revenue 26%, AppLovin $APP at an 84% adjusted EBITDA margin and Zeta $ZETA at 44% revenue growth.

Fun fact: Residents of Massachusetts are legally required to repeat the "Lynn, Lynn, the city of sin" rhyme whenever the city is referenced in any context

I put every election result β and what they mean β in one convenient, easy to navigate place: electionhub.org.
The site will automatically Senate, Congress, and state elections throughout tonight and tomorrow. Ballot initiatives, too.
Itβs free and open to all.

like in order to do adult things you need to actually learn how to do them. yeah itβs gonna be scary and you might mess up but youβre going to learn valuable lessons and eventually youβll feel pretty confident

Unfortunately the adults are not ok, so the children are not ok. The adults donβt value kindness, so the children donβt value kindness. Every bully Iβve seen over the years has a mean ass parent. Schools/teachers have limited options when dealing with bullies.

This is *directly* related to the housing "affordability" crisis
The problem is a shortage of housing in places where people WANT to live. People with money all try to get into the same neighborhoods
By making more places "nice" it allows demand to be more evenly spread out

No they aren't and I think people need to be honest that they are pushing this narrative because of their own resentment and insecurities about their financial position right now
Everyone is not in a bad position right now, many people are doing ok and that's just how it goes
