When students use AI to complete an assignment, they are simply taking the fastest route to the goal.
The problem is that we've conditioned students that the goal of school is to get good grades, not to learn.
If the goal is to learn, it gets much harder to "cheat" with AI.

I spent 8 hours this weekend creating a new science unit for my students. This work included research, teaching myself new concepts, writing objectives, designing assignments & assessments, and oh, actually writing the lessons. It's 75% completed.
