"The Knicks won a title four months ago but probably won't win another one" isn't really landing as a burn, I gotta say!

An idea on analyzing this particular defending champion that I’ve been thinking about a ton:

I didn’t know Fat Joe said “God loves the Knicks and God loves Wu-Tang” after Game 4…I’ve been saying this since it happened, Wu-Tang performing at halftime saved the Knicks!!! #KnicksIn5

Before we officially turn the page, I must express that the Knicks winning the NBA championship has forever changed me for the better as a person. This team is my Roman Empire. The joy and relief this title has provided, four months later? Truly beyond my wildest imagination.

I'd like to see a documentary about Nathan Fielder focused on the period where he was simultaneously making a film about Elizabeth Holmes AND learning how to fly a 747 AND making THE CURSE.

16 years ago…what a journey it has been. So many good days, some bad days, but overall it’s a blessing to still be here and living a life of purpose. Thank you to you all for your support, I can’t do this alone

There were various points in my life where I tried to reconcile myself with the seemingly certain reality the Knicks would never win a title, including during halftime of G4 in the Finals, so I truly could not care less, especially in an era where nobody has repeated in 8 years.

I am being serious!
Everyone should go see Digger!
Expect it will be like Lebowski or Shawshank as a movie that may have failed at the box office but will be seen as a classic. And it is a SHAME because we should all want movies like this to exist!
And I'm mad that I didn't see it when it opened in part because of the general din of disapproval by critics, and waited until I heard word of mouth from friends who loved it.
I can respect reviews that were ambivalent though that is incorrect, but the pans - these people ought to be shunned from society.

To be clear, are you being serious? I.e., should I go see it/ is it actually good??

‘DIGGER’ is reportedly projected to lose $250M - one of the biggest Hollywood bombs ever.

A major studio gave a director infinite money to make a wild-ass dark comedy starring some of our finest actors that acts as a HUGE middle finger to basically everything no one else in the industry has the balls to talk about and you’re sat there thinking about ‘box office’.

There’s one shot in DIGGER of John Goodman disinterestedly vaping and I’ve been thinking about it a lot

I have never done this: I wrote an article on X. So deeply have I been impacted by Brandon Flowers' "An American Dream", I feel compelled to share my verse-by-verse breakdown from a Believer's viewpoint. Hope it helps someone out there.

19-year-old saucy Bono is a lot but I was fully unprepared for Edge wearing the clown makeup during the guitar solo.
