Democratic activist, after getting warned by the warden that he was breaking the law, later threatened violence against Jon Fetherston. All of this while the Somali NGO’s brazenly violate the rules around “translators” and effectively have 12 people fill out hundreds of ballots. But the lefty media says @MaineWireJon is the problem. Okay. We‘ll provide 140 hours of security cam footage to DOJ and they can sort it out.
Kid who threatened to bash @MaineWireJon's head in either: 1) Commits blatant voter fraud and votes on behalf of his (I think) mom 2) Speaks perfect English but uses an aide for himself Hard to tell:

I think regardless of who you are rooting for tonight we can agree it’s extremely reckless for Caleb Williams to be texting and driving. Im not saying the league should suspend him for a half but maybe if Ben Johnson is the leader of men Bears fans say he is he makes a point about driving safely. Some things are bigger than sports

Honestly, Elon Musk is the only pioneer left who makes you truly inspired & amazed by innovation. Landing rockets backwards, driving cars upside down...it feels like our great American pioneer spirit went dormant since the Apollo missions, and we've felt stuck in time, but he's reawakened it...and for the first time in decades people are actually asking "what else is possible?" instead of this gloomy malaise of stagnation and planned obsolescence. Just the dumbest thing imaginable to bet against this guy.
Dude. Elon Musk is on another planet.

I can't imagine disliking someone so much that I'd willingly rob myself of the excitement of witnessing something genuinely this historic.

My political party is whichever one criticized Biden's "stimulus" and is criticizing Trump's $5000 giveaway. So... yeah. Let me know when that party exists.

If the Chinese government were sufficiently organized, they'd be funding opposition to data centers in the US. But the Chinese government is very organized. So they presumably already are.

The 90s were awesome. “John, we need a theme song for NBA basketball.” “Got it. How big?” “Full orchestra. French horns. Strings. Timpani. The fate of Western civilization hangs in the balance.” “Say no more.”

We are certain that all of the “financial auditors” who spent the last year scrutinizing every penny of our *actual* savings and cost avoidances will have no problem applying the same rigorous standard to your achievements. We look forward to your office sharing those findings with the public in the near term.
In January, our administration inherited a $12 billion budget deficit — a fiscal crisis greater than the Great Recession.
Today I am proud to announce that our balanced budget has cleared the final step and passed the New York City Council.  We balanced the budget by taxing the rich and making government more efficient. We did not balance this budget on the backs of working people, and we never will.  Every year that follows will build on these principles: Honest budgeting. Fiscal discipline. Transparent government. And an unwavering belief that working people deserve a government that delivers for them every day.

If Elon Musk’s one trillion could do so much good, then why haven’t all our multiple trillions in tax solved all the world’s problems before now?

History's first trillionaire is a guy who catches rockets out of the sky with chopsticks and beams internet to every dead zone on the planet. Same guy ships cars that drive themselves, humanoid robots for the factory floor, brain chips that let paralyzed people move a cursor with pure thought, and an AI running on a supercomputer his team stood up in months instead of years. And the people crashing out about his net worth are doing it on the app he owns. The same app governments spent years trying to censor. You cannot legislate a rocket into orbit.

Mayors and governors should be required to have quarterly earnings calls “Tax receipts came in light versus guidance due to weaker restaurant traffic, elevated public transit shrink and Ken Griffin moving half of Citadel to Miami.“ Then 45 minutes of hostile analyst Q&A from citizens

many years ago Bono was on (I think) Letterman and he said, In Ireland you look up at the rich guy on the hill and say, Someday I'll *get* that guy. In the US you say, Someday I'll *be* that guy. I can't find the video, but it stuck with me. Sadly, we're becoming the former.

There are going to be a helluva lot of parking lots in France with exactly 79 spaces.
France passed a law requiring solar panels on every parking lot with more than 80 spaces. Parking lots over a certain size have three to five years to cover at least half their surface area with solar canopies or face fines. The projected output: up to 11 gigawatts of capacity, the equivalent of 10 nuclear reactors. The panels shade the cars. They can charge EVs directly underneath them. They generate electricity for the grid. The parking lot goes from dead infrastructure to power plant without using a single additional acre of land. France plans to increase solar tenfold and double wind capacity by 2033. The US has approximately 800 million parking spaces. Eight hundred million. Most of them are uncovered asphalt sitting in direct sunlight. Why aren't we doing this?

Days after last year’s Palisades and Eaton wildfires, several heroic Los Angeles residents tackled and zip-tied a man starting fires with a blowtorch in their neighborhood. Los Angeles Police Department arrested 34-year-old Sierra-Leyva for a felony probation violation, but somehow determined that even though he was starting fires with a blowtorch, it wasn’t quite enough for an arson charge. I hope you’re sitting down because it turns out Sierra-Leyva is an illegal immigrant with a lengthy criminal history and is suspected of starting other fires. I hope you are still sitting down, because a Van Nuys jail ignored an ICE detainer and released him. Fortunately, ICE was there and immediately re-arrested the arsonist.

No one is in charge. That's why they're cheap.
Whoever is in charge of TV prices should be put in charge of healthcare, education, and housing prices
