Had some great meals in 2024. Top of the tree was @AngelHetton, Yorkshire. Faultless meal at 2* level. Superb 1* meals at Humble Chicken, London & Les Fresques near Bordeaux. In Dublin, Allta, Forest Ave & Mamo were memorably great. Shoutout to Fôret, Kickys & Oak Room in Adare.

Ate at @AngelHetton last night and it was probably the best tasting menu I have ever had. The complexity of flavour was unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. Perfect wine pairings too where the food complemented the wine and the wine complemented the food. 2 stars soon!
