outlaying a theme being conveyed in a work doesn't make the work better, it just confirms the presence of the theme in the work. if the presentation and the execution is poor, it's just an interesting theme being communicated in a badly written way.

The great thing about Igarashi as a character is that he's a shown how much bad and damage you can cause without having malice. It's a reafirmmation on the theme of a communication because he never truly looked at Koyun and tried to listen to her.

People crit stories on here, and that crit looks interesting or valuable on the surface. Then they don't apply those same standards to other works they praise, and you realize their shallowness. doubly so when you can't find a single work they've done and shared from themselves.
