It's a misconception that the government is helping families with free tickets to women.
There are many poor families where only men work and the Karnataka government is just pushing them to a corner with such steep hikes in everything. Many Kannadigas particularly in rural areas will be badly affected by the increase in BMTC and KSRTC fares.
Further, personal vehicle as a means of transport appears more and more affordable and time saving than using public transport.

I suggested introducing 30 min classses in offices for Kannada. They have nothing to say on this. Because their real intention is to spread hatred and not work towards a solution.
