My first paper is finally out in Communications Biology! 🥹❤️
Grateful to my PI, @Ishwariya13, for her constant support. A special shoutout to my paper partner, @netrakrish, for working alongside me and making this happen! 🧬✨ and @DhruvaKesireddy
& @manoj290991 4 all the help
Dussera gift from the universe! Our Nucleosome remodeling paper is out in @CommsBio today! 🥳🥳Combined effort of @netrakrish and @AnishaSumith supported by @DhruvaKesireddy and @manoj290991! Will post an explorable explanation soon, stay tuned! nature.com/articles/s42003-0…
Yaaay. Another win for the lab. Congratulations to all the winners....
Also huge shout out to @manoj290991 , @Athulnarayanps and @DhruvaKesireddy 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉for your respective travel awards and we are grateful to @IndAcadNeurosci for enabling this and motivating young researchers! See you all in Punjab in 2027!

Happy to share our paper out in @BioMedCentral BMC Bioinformatics! Lead author is @manoj290991 , he developed a ML tool for neurite measurement called DeNat which cuts down quantification time by A LOT while giving us gains in accuracy and sensitivity. Congrats to all authors 🎉🎉🎉🎉 link.springer.com/article/10…
Another win for the lab.
Congratulations @Athulnarayanps Def so proud of him.
@IndAcadNeurosci
The crew is killing it this year! @Athulnarayanps , project associate in the lab has bagged the IAN travel award for 10k to allow him to present his story at The upcoming meeting! His work identifies Retinoic acid receptors in combination promote regeneration post injury! You go athul! 🎉
Yohoooo. So proud of @Dhruvakesireddy for bagging the John Miller travel Award.
All the very best. Do check out his science at IAN 2026.
@IndAcadNeurosci
As the crew gear up for @IndAcadNeurosci IAN 2026, we are so happy to hear that our lab project associate + lab manager @DhruvaKesireddy has bagged the John Miller Travel Award. He will presenting cool work on Nuclesome remodeling and how that impacts axon regeneration! Congrats 🎊

Our bioinformatics champ postdoc @manoj290991 just posted his EIGHTH preprint from the lab! While I was roasting him that he’s now the lab OG with most preprints, clicked this candid pic! Congrats manoj, you have worked very hard on this story! More on the science in 48 h!
After months of failed expts, this email hit differently.(ifykyk)
Delighted to receive a Travel #Grant from from the International Brain Research Organization and the Society for Neuroscience to support my attendance at the #SfN2026 meeting!

Lab alum @DeeptaBeji , who’s doing her masters in Europe swung by to say hello! Universe lined up the ⭐️s, same day we could get Deepta, @netrakrish and @AnishaSumith the past & present of Team Epigenetics in one frame! Continue ✨Deepta, we will always cheer for you!
Funny how time flies when ur working with ur besties. From one batch to the next, it's been a awsm sharing the lab with both of you.
@netrakrish all the very best for ur PhD journey.. And thank you, @DeeptaBeji, for coming back to visit,it was so lovely seeing you again. ❤️

We made it to the 1% preprints of @qedScience !!! Only 2 from 🇮🇳 and one is @Yogeshsahu2030’s preprint! I’ve always said geographical bias exists in peer review and total blinding would give us the review we actually deserve. Now I have receipts to back it up! Curious who else made the cut? Lab alum session in the retreat warms my ❤️. Joining us from Germany, Texas, Estonia, Sweden, France, Blore, Pune, Vellore, them sharing lab memories, hearing about their projects, the old and new branches connecting, look at the broad smiles! What more can a PI want? 🫶🏻❤️

We are turning 4 in 2 wks. As tradition goes, I take the lab to a retreat to celebrate our collective wins - big & small, acknowledge contributions of all, course-correct, strategize, 🧠 storm, eat lots, laugh 😆 silly, and essentially regenerate- because it starts with us! ❤️
Three years ago this project began as a question during my PhD.
Two years optimising and generating datasets, one more learning to listen to the data.
Science rewards patience with complexity.
This one is for everyone who believed in the question before there were any answers
We've been obsessed with the 3D genome lately. Our preprint will tell you why. We mapped 3D topology, layer by layer, across Development and Injury, guess what?! Neurons retain latent cellular memory that triggers rewiring of the 3D genome upon injury!!! biorxiv.org/content/10.64898…
There is no resolution. Still facing the same isuue over and over again @reliancejio @reliancejio
