Happy to share our paper out in @BioMedCentral BMC Bioinformatics! Lead author is @manoj290991 , he developed a ML tool for neurite measurement called DeNat which cuts down quantification time by A LOT while giving us gains in accuracy and sensitivity. Congrats to all authors 🎉🎉🎉🎉 link.springer.com/article/10…

We made it to the 1% preprints of @qedScience !!! Only 2 from 🇮🇳 and one is @Yogeshsahu2030’s preprint! I’ve always said geographical bias exists in peer review and total blinding would give us the review we actually deserve. Now I have receipts to back it up! Curious who else made the cut? Check out the-one-percent.qedscience.c…

Lab alum session in the retreat warms my ❤️. Joining us from Germany, Texas, Estonia, Sweden, France, Blore, Pune, Vellore, them sharing lab memories, hearing about their projects, the old and new branches connecting, look at the broad smiles! What more can a PI want? 🫶🏻❤️

We are turning 4 in 2 wks. As tradition goes, I take the lab to a retreat to celebrate our collective wins - big & small, acknowledge contributions of all, course-correct, strategize, 🧠 storm, eat lots, laugh 😆 silly, and essentially regenerate- because it starts with us! ❤️

You know what happens when your student takes the podium and delivers a seamless talk at a conference? You want to jump up and whistle 😗 when he finishes 😄😁 I’ll save that for when we come back to the lab but for now pls cheer with me for @Yogeshsahu2030’s 3rd invited talk!

Kudos to the organizers and volunteers! And for IVL - we return to Hyderabad with wide smiling faces - 2 Short talks, 1 Poster award, 1 Travel award and alot of learning and knowledge sharing! Looking forward to attending future IAN meetings :)
Uff, what a fantastic four day conference it was. It was intense and stimulating for all the good reasons. As a trainee, at this stage of my life, I feel this has been an amazing experience - an opportunity to meet the Indian neuroscience community.
