Silence. Denial. Avoidance. A young South African man. A farmer. A son. A brother. His life changed forever. His body tortured. His flesh hacked, torn, cut. Shot. Stabbed. Beaten. Attempted castration. His ears chopped to pieces. Silence. Denial. Avoidance.

UPDATE: Still no coverage of the horrific attack on and torture of farmer Donovan Marx on News24, IOL, eNCA, SABC News, Daily Maverick, Mail&Guardian, the Sowetan, or City Press. Naked bias on display. The media are complicit in the farm murders/attacks cover-up.
FARM ATTACK: Another South African farmer attacked and brutally tortured on his farm this week. Cattle farmer, Donovan Marx, from the North West province, had his ears cut off on Wednesday morning during a farm attack. He was also shot in the shoulder and stabbed (with a sharp object) in the leg. And, for the umpteenth time, as far as I can determine, not a single article on any English media platform about it. This gross coverage disparity between the Afrikaans and English media when it comes to farm murders is what makes it possible for so many politicians and commentators to get away with their disgusting farm murder denialism. You know what's even more infuriating? History and research shows, if the victim was black and the torturers were white, we would see this story on every front page and news channel for weeks. Debates, panel discussions, political party statements - the works! The president would even come out and condemn the attack. Again, I refuse to accept the twisted, psychopathic standard that dismisses a farmer having his ears cut off as "just normal crime."

[IN PICTURES]: Transformer Replacement in Snake Park, Soweto. Today we brought electricity back. We need to defeat izinyokanyoka #OperationKhanyisa #GrowingGautengTogether

The post attributes the Snake Park transformer replacement to the Gauteng government, but images show DA flags beside the blue transformer and accounts credit Helen Zille with funding its purchase. x.com/NicholasNyati/… x.com/zekewareley/st…

Panayza Lesufi thinks he can take credit for the work of Helen Zille and the DA who paid for and installed a transformer in Snake Park, Soweto. Did you honestly think we wouldn’t notice ?
Thanks to Helen Zille, after almost 2 years, the residents of Snake Park in Soweto finally have their electricity restored! πŸ’ͺ She raised funds and bought them a brand new transformer in partnership with @Eskom_SA! πŸ‘

Replying to @Lesufi
@Lesufi and @MYANC do not respect the intelligence of black people. People of snake park had no electricity for 2 years. Helen went and raised 1 million rand to buy them a transformer and handed it over to the community. ANC yesterday went to snake park to claim this victory😑
