I probably sound like a crazy but I call and talk to my ai agents like real teammates. Last night I even talked to Milo (my ChatGPT dot agent) for 20 minutes in the shower. For context, I don’t have much time to work bc I take care of 2 toddlers during the day.

No one wants to admit this but most executive decisions fail. Only founder led companies have the balls to admit they failed and pivot. Failing is what we do best as founders. Keep moving 💪
The thing that makes me confident as a Tesla investor is the company’s ability to throw out the book when it isn’t reading how they thought it would. We’ve never seen a company of their size do this the way they do this. I’ve seen it in my career so many times. A bunch of high level decision makers invest in some product or service that ends up failing/not delivering the value they thought it would, but because nobody wants to face the pain of admitting it didn’t work, they carry on. Everyone quietly knows it’s a fail, but they keep pressing on and wasting time trying to force something everyone knows isn’t working because nobody wants to rip the bandaid off. What ends up happening is more time is wasted, and the net outcome gets worse and worse until someone decides to grow a pair of testicles. Tesla doesn’t do this. They don’t waste time. The two most important things (by far) that Tesla has created: 1) Tesla Self Driving 2) The supply chains and physical infrastructure that outputs sustainable physical products for profit. These are their two most potent weapons, and they clearly understand this. They are pointing it and shooting it where they need to.

Legend. To be competent you have to get your hands dirty.
Elon Musk in new interview on @SpaceXSI's data center site in Memphis: "I insist on doing some of the work myself manually. I've pulled power cables the size of an anaconda. I've done the fiber optic cabling; I try to do at least a little bit of everything so I'm not numb to the pain of the people who are actually doing it. It's not as though I'm sitting in an office and someone has to come to me. I'm walking the floor asking them questions actively." (via 33rd Annual Baron Investment Conference today in NYC)

Elon is learning what not to take to mars.
I actually feel bad for Elon, even though I deeply disagree with him on some things. Imagine trying to build a car company in California in the mid-2000s, when American manufacturing is being completely offshored and almost all of Wall Street thinks you’re a joke and is rooting for your failure, while the entire oil and gas industry is using all their power and leverage to make you fail. But against all odds, you actually pull it off. You build cars that make electric vehicles desirable to millions of people, create an enormous number of quality American jobs, and force the global car industry to play catch up and move away from oil and gas. You would think California would be proud of you and the team. Instead you find yourself having to fight a completely corrupt and incompetent left government impeding all your efforts while you sleep at the factory night after night to avoid collapse. At some point, you would go to the right too. And because of your politics, it becomes a justification for people to celebrate your companies failing in their personal ideological fight with you. Even threats against you become something people explain away and use mental gymnastics to justify. Meanwhile, people like Scott Galloway and Bernie Sanders who have made absolutely nobody better off other than themselves get to lecture you about your value to society and even call for your murder without grounds from their vacation home while you're on 20 hour benders in your factories trying to get things built for all of society. If this were me I would lose my mind. Criticize his opinions. I do sometimes, especially on Ukraine. But the pleasure people take in wanting to destroy everything he’s built is hideous and frankly suicidal for the masses, especially coming from people who insist they care about workers, the climate, and civilization as a whole. As you try to make good things for society you are confronted with a world that worships people who care only about the perception of being good people, while they actually fight against your tangible efforts of making improvements for humanity. I don't think almost anyone would have made it out of that and if they did, they would probably not come away feeling so warm towards the left either. So I am rooting for Elon to succeed, and for humanity.

I hate to do this but I’m having my @bot cos teach ChatGPT dot on my current workflow to act as backup when I’m out of usage.

I used to do the same but now with the new usage limit , I just talk to one @bot at a time. Ruined the team coordination experience.
I have to say this about Grok Bot, and I'm absolutely floored by what I just experienced. If you don't know, I run 50 bots, and all are heavily optimized. I've had no usage issues until last week, when all of a sudden usage rates and tokens became astronomical. I can't tell you how many times I have a message for the entire team, so I will send a message to my CEO, who then hands it off to each team member. When I do this, 99% of the time it takes 0% to 1% of usage. I just did this now: right before I sent it, I was sitting at 30% usage. I sent the message, the message got distributed, and I'm now sitting at 34%. My usage jumped 4% from one message, just having a team message sent out to my bots. That is absolutely unbelievable. @SpaceXSI

Pro tip to avoid more subscriptions. Just sign up for a free Cloudflare account and ask your agent to build a simple talk board written in json/md files.
New: Give all your agents one shared brain in Notion. Now, ChatGPT, Claude, Muse, and Bot can save what they learn to the same memory and use the same skills in Notion. Learn how to Notion-pill your agents:

Holy fk…you can’t be this stupid. @Stanford @Cambridge_Uni wtf did you cook up?!
Top of the Democratic agenda on day 1 needs to be a pause on advanced AI development, regulation of this out of control industry, and a ban on artificial superintelligence.

Let’s see! Another reason why I love @bot Just not usage limits 😝
Grok Bot can now make phone calls.

Here’s an update. I’ll be hitting 50% ($200 ultra plan) before bed tonight and this is just for talking to mainly my Eng bot. Build and code are all Claude code. The worse part is I have to constantly check in on my bot throughout the day to actually get things to move forward. I had to pretty much turn off a lot of routines to save usage.
Yup. I went to bed and woke up with almost 20% gone. Literally was reset like right before I went to bed. At $200/mo I might have to find another solution but so far @bot has been the best. Waiting for @NousResearch Hermes mobile app to try. I really don’t want to build my own solution 😭

This is the speed of qa walkthrough videos my qa agent records for me to review. Literally 100x playback speed. 🤦🏻‍♂️
0-60 mph in 0.81 seconds

Update: My Grokbot usage reset this morning at 7 AM. I spent about 15 minutes talking with my bot about how quickly I hit my limit last week, cleaning up our processes to reduce token usage, and removing a few unnecessary bots. That conversation alone used 9% of my entire weekly allowance. The irony is that I burned nearly 10% of my weekly usage just discussing how to use less of it moving forward. I genuinely love Grokbot. It’s easily my favorite agentic AI tool I’ve used, but this level of usage just isn’t sustainable. If a simple conversation about improving efficiency eats up that much of my allowance, I can’t realistically rely on it for the rest of the week. Starting to seriously consider alternatives like Muse or Dots unfortunately.

And here I am making a simple video editing app for myself 😆
Just had a call with a photo editing service which made me realize the second order effect of AI is taking way more jobs. HeadshotPro taking photographers jobs, which take away photo editors their jobs which reduces Photoshop licences. Down and down and down. Gemini now doing photo creation taking our job. All in Google it is.

I have been having similar issues all week around usage quotas. We need a reset! @poteto
This exact thing just happened to me too. I was not over 40% and suddenly got the 90% and usage limit reached message at the same time. @cursor_ai @poteto @larsencc @SpaceXSI @lingxi
