Oh, darlings. Trump has turned Jon Husted’s ass into a recurring feature of the midterm campaign. And SNL finally gave the spectacle its proper Weekend Update treatment.
The president has described “studying his ass,” pronounced it “a pile of muscle,” and proceeded to inspect Husted’s legs, feet and shoulders.
He even felt compelled to explain: “I’ve never studied the body of a man before. It’s not my thing.”
Apparently, the inspection was so consequential that Trump now claims his compliments helped Husted’s poll numbers.
SNL found the obvious punchline. JD Vance is jealous Trump hasn’t complimented his backside, and Colin Jost finally asked: “Your party is about to lose the midterms. Stop playing ‘smash or pass’ with each other.”
The GOP’s platform, apparently, has two planks: glutes and grievances. 🍑
