I'm so fortunate to have found Veganism as a cause to voice. It is validated by 2 fields that matter i.e. Science and Philosophy.
Then there are people who take up random bullshit causes. "Holistic medicine", Mask+Vax Freedom, etc. Neither scientifically not philosophically valid

Hey y'all! We're almost at the finish line! After a whole year, and probably ~1K commits and ~200,000 lines of code later, Enaychi (formerly nutriDex) is nearing its V1 release on the Google Play Store! Basically, Enaychi is an all-in-one tracker for nutrition, exercise, medications, biometrics, with support for fitness devices.
Features: source.uprootnutrition.com/u…
Web-app: enaychi.com
But, here's where I could use your help!
There's still a lot more to do! I'm planning to integrate a massive nutrition database covering 1.4 million foods and 600+ nutrients/compounds, with the goal of Enaychi basically just deprecating all other trackers over night. I'm also developing this app entirely on my own. AI tools have been invaluable in accelerating development, but the costs just rack up like a motherfucker, and I burn through my current AI subscriptions in a matter of days. This means I spend a shit ton of the development time hand-coding, which takes fucking forever and needlessly keeps the app out of users hands longer.
I'm hoping to raise ~$300 for a Claude Max 20 subscription ($600 would be ideal for a couple months worth if needed) to help accelerate development and get these features into your hands sooner. I'm personally committed to funding this project by selling personal possessions, but any community support would make a genuine difference. ❤️
If you believe in what I'm building and can spare a few dollars, I'd be incredibly grateful! ❤️

Even in a mature field where cruelty was thought to be maxed out, factory farming shows that there's still room to get even more psychotic.
A new study (Li et al., 2026) recommends giving chickens just 2 hours of darkness nightly to maximize the time they spend eating.
The study and photo are Chinese. But the idea is American: US chicken producers pioneered sleep restriction to keep their birds eating around the clock.
We know chickens have far better welfare with 7–8 hours of darkness to sleep. Their ancestors, the red junglefowl, naturally sleep 12 hours a night.
Today the US industry gives most birds just 4 hours of intermittent darkness. Will they now drop that to 2?
Don't count on them considering what the birds need.
True. Especially when people say shit like this, as if it's some catastrophic problem:

They're crediting @WorldInMaps for this (quoted) graph where India is portrayed as the women not having equal rights in marriage. But that's not what @WorldInMaps has posted on their insta (pasted below). Why is @ProjectLiberal using a distorted graph?
> ignores the vegan society def
Yeah, as it should. It's a terrible def that allows many people to call themselves vegan while they don't give a flying fuck about animal rights (apart from other problems like vagueness).
Replying to @asheuriii
Also - as a vegan for 29yrs, focusing on stopping animal predation in nature honestly feels like a psyop to discredit AR / veganism. I’m not saying you are doing this but -to ME- it’s counterproductive, impractical & ignores the Vegan Society’s OG statement -shrug
This is what should be done when a sentient being's basic rights are being threatened by another. Notice how we didn't discuss if the perp here has mOrAl aGeNcY or not.
Knife-Wielding Suspect Shot Dead by Corona Police After Reported Assault
Corona, California — On July 17, 2026, at approximately 6:28 a.m., Corona Police officers responded to the 1200 block of E. Parkridge Avenue after callers reported an adult man attacking an adult woman. Police said the woman was struck multiple times with a rock and that the man was armed with a knife.
An officer quickly located the suspect and contacted him. According to the Corona Police Department, the man remained armed with the knife and refused to follow the officer’s directions. An officer-involved shooting then occurred. Officers provided immediate life-saving measures, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene by Corona Fire Department personnel.
Police identified the man as Isaiah Maciel, 25, of Corona. The female victim sustained visible injuries and was evaluated by medical personnel. No officers were injured. Police said there was no known relationship between Maciel and the victim.

A ton of internet discourse is now like this song. It sounds good, but it is all gibberish. It means nothing.

There shouldn't be any legal consequences to speech, unless there's incitement of violence. Countries like the US exemplify what it means to respect Free Speech (at least for now), and she wouldn't be prosecuted there, so she shouldn't be here too.

The problem with being married to a political side is embarrassment like this. If this was a genuine intellectually honest and consistent activist, he'd answer without filibustering and say that he wants the resignation of the Punjab MoE, or provide a symmetry breaker.
Kyon @SauravDassss ? Bolti bandh kyon hui @ARanganathan72 ka sawaal sunn ke? Saanp soong gaya?
It was a simple question: Did you ask @ArvindKejriwal for Harjyot Singh’s resignation in the same manner as you asked Nadda for Pradhan’s?
