The same men who say "this jollof is killing me", "my boss wants to kill me with work" and "Arsenal will be the death of me" have suddenly discovered the dictionary because a woman described pregnancy as a death sentence. You understand figures of speech perfectly. You just don't like it when a woman uses one to describe something that actually kills her. Nigeria accounts for more than a quarter of all maternal deaths in the world. So no, it's not "definitely die". But it's a gamble with her life every single time, and she's the one taking the risk while you argue about vocabulary.

I will tell you the truth. This is coming from someone who has ACTUALLY worked in tech, still does - saw the handwriting on the wall and safely pivoted/diversified. In 2026, tech is like forex. Do people still make money legitimately from forex? Yes. But the people who seem to be making the most money are the ones teaching others how to make money. If you're paying to learn tech - even though its not wrong, you should know what you're getting into. 1. YOU ARE NOT GETTING INTERNSHIP SUPPORT. 700 participants, 2 internship spots is not internship support. 2. Go and read on the streak of layoffs happening currently across the ecosystem - and it is just starting. Microsoft just made an announcement asking about 6000 employees to activate their buyout clause - essentially saying: "Terminate your contract now, and we will give you an agreed sum". This is a strong indicator of more layoffs. Entire tech workflows that would ordinarily take a month, is getting done in 1 day. There is insane saturation. The only ones assured on returns are the ones who sold a course to you. That you don't like what I've said, doesn't make it a lie.

Pastor Dolapo is still young ministry, and learning the rope of ministry and public speaking. What he said is not scriptural correct. The preaching of the gospel is not the preaching of religion but Christ and his finished work. So the better way to put it is this: If you die without believing in Christ Jesus as your lord and saviour, you're going to hell. There's no wisdom in calling any religion name. That should be an in-house statement. Having said that, what he said is not unlawful because he hasn't broken any known law in Nigeria. But his statement is in insensitive and unnecessary. A Muslim who believes that jesus died for his sins, accept him as lord and saviour, but still goes to mosque to pray and indulge in their religious activities, will still go to heaven because of his faith in Christ. His religious activities doesn't cancel his salvation. You don't have to be a Christian to be in heaven, but you have to believe in the resurrected Christ. None of the old testament saints were Christians, but they believed in Christ.
