Literally everything wrong with modern day politics. Two people never having struggled in their lives doing everything they can to stop struggling people having affordable food. All in favour of keeping a fucking random, unused field. Class.
Just order a pint you big minge
At a bar ordering a drink from a British bartender
Me: “Can i get a tequila soda, splash of lemonade?”
Bartender: “uhh what do you mean, like sprite?”
Me: “no tequila soda with lemonade”
Bartender: “I’m confused what you want”
Does lemonade not exist in England?
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The British brand R Whites is one of the oldest lemonade brands in the world having been founded in 1845 and first producing lemonade between 1845-1855

"Football used to feel like an escape from the world around us. Now, increasingly, it feels like a particularly exaggerated version of it."
Great read
I’ve supported Arsenal for over 30 years. I’m a season ticket holder and we’re successful.
Yet I’ve never felt more disconnected from the club.
I’ve written about why, and what I miss about the game I fell in love with.

I do think he’s a very good player, but only if we’d paid 60 million for him.
‘Politely clap and leave’ we need a literal end to football journalism, it is not a proper job.
Replying to @spbajko
I'm not sure I agree with the premise of the question respectfully. They got to see the game, and the goals, and at the whistle the players should politely clap and leave.
Every single part of this is completely normal behaviour for the literal mayor of Manchester.
🚨🚨| NEW: Details of Andy Burnham’s meetings and dealings with Manchester City’s owners have now been made public:
He was a guest of Manchester City at home matches on "a few minor occasions", including Vincent Kompany's testimonial in 2019, where he met Chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak "informally" in the stands.
In October 2021, he held a "formal meeting" with Al Mubarak at the UK Government’s Global Investment Summit.
Representatives from Manchester City, Manchester United, and Lancashire Cricket Club joined mayoral delegation visits to India, China, Japan, the US, and Ireland.

He’s the prems new Pogba. It’ll take another 4 years before fans will actively call him shite, until then they’ll just create different scenarios that he needs to ‘unlock’ him.
