The Athletics have been trying to sign Nick Kurtz and Shea Langeliers to long-term deals but have not been successful, per @JimBowdenGM

Joe Lacob is a champion. Again. Can’t imagine him not succeeding if he bought a baseball team, but Bud Selig and MLB rejected his bid to buy A’s in 2005. The team went to John Fisher. Both bids the same. Very unfortunate for baseball and Bay Area. Congrats Valkyries.

Fisher choosing to bet on the lockout instead of the success of his own franchise. Classic.

Just trust him. Ignore all the behavior he’s exhibited over the last 21 years.

Hearing that a number of members of the A's minor league staff were let go today. People in the organization seem reluctant to talk about it, but someone said it seems to have come from "the top" (wherever that is right now) and referred to it as a "purge."

We finally have a statement about that controversial ending, sir
Great. What layout and font should we use?
Definitely “back cover of a 1980s young adult mystery paperback”
Hillsborough County Commission voted 5-2 to approve the Rays' new stadium deal, per @TBTimes_Rays.
Site prep is expected to start soon, with the stadium projected to open for the 2029 season.
Tough blow for Shea. Hope he recovers soon so he can be traded to a real franchise.
New at ESPN: All-Star catcher Shea Langeliers has a torn meniscus in his knee and could miss the remainder of the year, taking him off the trade market and dealing another blow to an A's season gone wrong. Details free at ESPN: espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/4945…

They ain’t the Sacramento A’s, they ain’t the Las Vegas A’s, and they for sure aren’t the Oakland A’s…
They’re officially the FJF’s!!!
…forever cursed!
I don’t think I’ve seen this rendering before, which is truly shocking. I thought I’ve seen them all.
.@ZennieAbraham62 is on his bullshit again, lol.
Oakland has never taken this loser seriously on anything and yet he continues to try to inject himself into things around The Town.
Get a new hobby already, dude.
