Blue Ghost and the #PyramidOnTheMoon have arrived at the lunar surface! This is the second mission (behind Intuitive Machines' IM-1 over a year ago) to put my name and message on the Moon. Much thanks to @fireflyspace and @goLifeShip for this amazing opportunity! #AdLunam

U.S. Intel Confirms This Is China’s Secret Spaceplane The Chinese spaceplane design is unsurprisingly very similar to the U.S. Space Force's history-making X-37B. twz.com/news-features/u-s-in…

#OTD in 1969, NASA test pilot Bill Dana flew the HL-10 lifting body to Mach 1.58 at over 60,000 feet. The craft was air launched from a B-52 mothership and would then fly back to land. 📷: Dana next to the HL-10 as a B-52 flies overhead.

Did we find a new dwarf planet? @VRubinObs has revealed a new dwarf planet candidate that orbits our Sun beyond Pluto! And it may be among the largest and brightest objects discovered in this region of the Solar System: stanford.io/4exr85u

One of my favorite Milky Way photos from ISS, with the multicolored lights of Southeast Asia streaking across the exposure from orbital velocity, while distant stars remain fixed by my star tracker. The long exposure intensifies the atmospheric airglow into a thick red band!

Any senior DOJ official involved in this prosecution should be disbarred and never allowed to practice law again for the rest of their lives. This is Banana Republic stuff.
Trump’s DOJ just charged James Comey for the third time in a little over a year. They lost the first one. The second one is about seashells and isn’t going anywhere. So they went looking for a new one. What they landed on is a 2016 leak to the New York Times that Trump’s own prosecutor already looked at in 2018 and declined to charge. A second DOJ investigation closed in 2020 with the same answer. But the statute of limitations runs out this week, so they skipped the grand jury and filed anyway. And it’s not just Comey. Yesterday a judge ruled the DOJ illegally fired his daughter, a prosecutor with outstanding reviews every year, and ordered her reinstated with back pay. So this is what we’re dealing with. A Justice Department that will keep going after someone no matter how many times it loses, and will go after his family if that’s what it takes. Trump said he’d do this. He campaigned on it. And the people he put in charge at the DOJ keep trying. All to keep the toddler who ended up in the White House happy. I break it all down in today’s show (link in reply).
