Holy Cow! CNN just explained how Donald Trump is more socialist than the Democrats.
"In his second term, Donald Trump has pulled a page out of the socialism playbook and made the government an investor in private companies. Trump has used taxpayer dollars to acquire stakes in a variety of companies. Moore, one of the president's long-time economic sounding boards, is telling Trump to stop. Stop buying into companies. And he likens it to socialism. He says that the nation can't afford it with a $40 trillion debt. The Cato Institute has a whole report on this and if you look at this chart we're up to 34 companies now that the government has stakes in. Prior to Donald Trump taking office, it was zero. So what are we doing here?"

Such a weird message. Telling voters to suck it up and accept less. This is a message that has never worked with voters. Even the WWII rationing efforts for a good cause were very unpopular. And the “Just buy cheaper proteins” message, just a mistake. It’s what the MS GOP Senator said and it got turned into a viral attack ad. And now it’s in play.

7 races.
Race 1-5: First five race, eliminate the 4th and 5th places because no matter what they have 3 people in front of them. You have 15. This only determines ranking within the group not across.
Race 6: Race the winners of each group (A-E). Eliminate everyone with 3 or more ahead of them. So assuming A1 won in chronological order to E1, A1 is the fastest.
D1 and E1 are out because they placed 4th and 5th and so is their groups. Even if you assume those who placed second, or third in their group may be faster than someone in other groups, it doesn’t matter because the winners of that group have 3 or more ahead of them. Only C1 survives from their group - C1 has B1 and A1 ahead of him. B1 came second so B1 and B2 are in play. B3 is out because again B3 has B1, B2 and now A1 ahead of them - eliminated.
A1 is the fastest so out of the new race. A2 and A3 are in play. A4 out because no matter what A4 has 3 people ahead of him determined by the first race.
So those left are A2, A3, B1, B2 and C1.
Race 7: determines the 2nd and 3rd

CNN: This gas price spike is stunning. Voters were already very mad about high gas prices. Now they're going much higher. Talk about an October surprise. Two days ago, the average in Michigan was $4.44 a gallon. Look where we are now. $4.77 a gallon. That's a $0.33 increase. Look at Ohio, another major battleground state. We're looking at a $0.39 increase in the last two days.
