doctor who eu quotes@dweuquotes1 May 2024
‘The Doctor’—the title he chose, rather than the name he was born with—is more of an idea in his head, than a statement of his identity. The Doctor is the man he aspires to be, not the man he believes he is.

It’s here where I kinda hate that this movie is beholden to TLOK’s story? Tagah being an analogue of Aang who clearly has opposing views on how the 4 nations work is interesting as to how Airbending SUBCULTURES could exist? What are the Airbenders if they’re not Air NOMADS?

Genuinely the best way they could’ve opened this film. Actually getting to see the Air Nation is so fucking cool cos the only real exposure we have to them is in the books? Older Aang’s voice actor is stellar, exactly how I’d imagine Aang would sound.

In Battlefront III, all the weapons for each class should be era specific to the faction/era you’re playing. I want to feel immersed. Having to use a Sequel Trilogy era weapon when I’m defending Theed from General Grievous just so I don’t get blitzed breaks that.

This is exactly why people like Lupita still find it hard to get roles in Hollywood even though she’s an OSCAR-WINNING ACTRESS

Luke and Leia are such a bad example of this. Like even if we’re not taking the “chosen one” term literally (Anakin is the Chosen One) this just doesn’t apply to their dynamic at all.

not directed at op at all but this is exactly what we meant when we said israel was normalised for decades through tv shows & movies downplaying their crimes but fans will say you’re “too woke” if you point out the obvious propaganda being fed to viewers

The Ash vs Paul Sinnoh League battle is genuinely paced and written so well. Every victory, defeat and stalemate felt naturally occurring. It’s kinda why I hate the Ash and Alain battle for rushing the whole thing by giving Alain these insane advantages.
