Script could’ve used a redraft or two. Several major plot problems, and some really wonky characterization for at least two characters. But quite a spectacle. Visually marvelous; probably one of the most technically impressive productions I’ve ever seen.
I keep seeing this discourse on my TL and it’s literally just the tired “redemption vs forgiveness” debate all over again 🙄
Like a lot of these people are arguing the extremely bizarre/unfair claim that if you ever had problematic beliefs in the past, that’s still who you are fundamentally.
