I heard one of the women who ran the DIY orchi shed speak once. Was part of a wider convo about trans elderhood and she said "the 22 yo who has been stripping and building bikes since she was a kid needs to be respected more than the 30-40-50 year old that just bought a Harley".

cis women are encouraged to accept that their body is "beautiful the way they are" because they are a woman and by definition the way their body is is an acceptable way for a woman's body to be. This is NOT the case for trans women. We can't fall back on gender essentialism and body positivity. For most trans women, their body is a twisted horror that needs to be destroyed with fire, and society agrees
A trans woman's dysphoria over her androgenised skeleton is not equivalent to a cis woman's insecurities about her hip dips.
Trans women do not get campaigns of body positivity that make them feel like they belong.
We are hated for existing, and judged for trying to change ourselves
The gun has a chamber flag in it...
Right wing culture wars larp has no limits, quoting rules of firearms safety over a gun that is visibly unloaded and clear.
Perhaps the Met should teach the basic rules as I spot two she has broken, but Iβve fixed the picture Γ nyway, Iβm good like that.π
- Never point a gun at anything youβre not willing to destroy.
- Never put your finger on a trigger unless youβre ready to fire.
- Treat every gun as if itβs loaded.
- Be aware of whatβs in front & behind the target.
