A lot of black people online didn’t grow up on council estates in the 90’s with white friends and have cussing matches and it tells. Morrisson wasn’t being racist he was being intentionally disrespectful there’s a difference.

Reviews about Jay-Z London concerts are abit unfair and tad disingenuous. He’s a 56 year old rapper turned billionaire who quite frankly doesn’t have to tour and gave us two good shows back to back. I couldn’t name a rapper who can fill up London stadiums for two nights at 56

‘MMM’ by Headie One ended the week with 926 sales 📈
Before people rush to call this a bad result, there’s some important context.
This release was handled independently, and with that came a few operational mistakes that clearly affected the final number. For example, only 9 physical copies were actually registered for the chart after the team attempted to register them over a Bank Holiday — not exactly ideal timing when the Official Charts office is effectively shut.
There was also an issue with the Deluxe version released on Tuesday. The new tracks, including the viral Digga D collaboration ‘How Dare They’, were initially uploaded without Digga D — or the other featured artists — being listed as main artists. That naturally affected how far the songs could travel across DSPs and limited some of the reach they should’ve had.
So yes, 926 sales is lower than people may have expected from Headie One, but doing just under 1,000 units independently while dealing with those mistakes is still a W in my eyes.
And this is exactly why I always say labels still have a purpose. Artists love to say labels aren’t needed, but there’s so much that goes on behind the scenes — registering physicals properly, delivering music to DSPs correctly, metadata, chart eligibility, release timing, campaign execution.
Most artists simply aren’t taught how to do all of that.
Sometimes the music isn’t the problem. The infrastructure is.
Facts I use to watch goldbridge but I can’t deal with the constant negativity these days can never look at the glass half full
Mark Goldbridge has turned being permanently negative about Manchester United into a business model.
Every defeat is a crisis, every decision is incompetence and every discussion has to be pushed to the most toxic extreme because outrage gets clicks.
Fair play, he’s built a very successful platform from it but to me it feels less like genuine United support and more like Fox News-style rage bait dressed up as fan content.
Couldn’t be me defending that nonsense.
