Stanley Park mobility study is out. Removal of bike lane resulted in: way more speeding, no extra parking revenue (so much for the argument that the lane was removing parking access), fewer people cycling, more crowding on the seawall. Surprising NO ONE (1/3)

Last week I got the chance to visit the first car-free neighborhood built from scratch in modern day America. Come with me as I explore @culdesac — a 17-acre oasis of walkable living in the otherwise sprawling, car-dependent metropolis of Phoenix. 🧵

Just a quick shoutout to @BESTmobility for delivering efficiency at an absolutely slammed Bike Valet service at car-free day on Main yesterday. Even as we headed home in the early evening, folks wanting to park their bikes could only get a spot once we left with ours.

The people love the Steveston bike valet! Leave the car at home and park your bike, e-bike, or e-scooter securely for free in the cannery parking lot on weekends and holidays from 10-6 until Labour Day! Thanks to @StevestonHA, @TransLink, @VisitRichmondBC, & @BESTmobility – at Richmond, British Columbia

Loving plans for the new #RobsonStreet plaza on the #ButeGreenway 👏 It’s great to see connection of the existing mini park at Haro, essentially turning this into a 2 block urban #plaza | #publicspace – at Downtown, Vancouver
