We're praying for Governor-elect Keisha Lance Bottoms.
Before January, she'll pick the people who run Georgia's agencies, build her first budget, and get ready to lead a state of 11 million people. Few people ever carry that much, and she will need wisdom beyond her own. We're praying for her integrity, for her family as their lives change, and for her heart, because "the king's heart is a stream of water in the hand of the LORD; he turns it wherever he will" (Proverbs 21:1).
We worked for a different outcome. When her agenda conflicts with life, family, or religious liberty, we will oppose it, openly. But Scripture calls us to pray "for kings and all who are in high positions" (1 Timothy 2:1–2), and that command has no exception for elections we lose.

Georgia voters and voters across America have spoken.
I’d like to first congratulate Governor-elect Keisha Lance Bottoms on her historic victory last night. Marty, the girls, and I are praying for the governor-elect and her family as they lead our state over the next four years.
I’d also like to thank Rick Jackson and all of our Republican candidates for running spirited campaigns and putting themselves forward, and congratulate Senator Ossoff on a hard-fought win.
Republicans now have the opportunity, and responsibility, to heed the will of voters and learn from last night’s results. I firmly believe the conservative principles of our party lead to greater freedom, security, and prosperity for all Americans—and it’s time we get back to those principles in the months and years to come.
