My recent vacation also led to stops at a couple of Spanish unis: @UniBarcelona and @universitatURV. Both with stunning architecture and surrounded by history.
IYKYK, I can't take a vacation and not make a uni visit or two! What a wonderful day it was exploring @Cambridge_Uni in July.
Also once known as BVG's Student Services Advisor! We look forward to welcoming her back to the school!

The purpose of liberal arts education is not to build your career. It’s to broaden your mind.
You don’t have to justify a major based on job prospects. The only explanation necessary is “it interests me.”
The true value of college is improving your ability to think and learn.
Although the closing of @QuestUniCanada and the loss of their unique (in Canada) programming was unfortunate, it is great to hear that their beautiful campus will be put to good use by @CapilanoU.

Well done, Faraz. Your reflections about your #BVGCooperativeEducation experience this summer are insightful and help to identify the value of #experientiallearning opportunities.

Many excellent points raised in this article. Reflecting upon some of the important topics related to #wellbeing and #flourishing that were discussed at #CAISLI this week, I fully understand the reasons why @YukonUniversity is exploring varsity sports.

Thanks @ed_kidd & @KiddHanna for leading the #CAISLI module, "Nurturing Whole School Well-Being:
Systems Change, Culture and School Flourishing". I look forward to learning more tomorrow, and then sharing w/ @bayviewglen Community, Health & Well-Being Discovery Team in the fall.
What a great opportunity! Thanks @adybala2, our dedicated Academic & Career Counsellor (and Co-Op teacher) for coordinating this experience for the students.

#BVGgrads2023 will attend 9 of the 14 Canadian universities named in the @timeshighered THE Impact Rankings (measures a uni’s performance in advancing the @UN 17 Sustainable Development Goals). Grads: go there and apply the @bayviewglen core values and @r0undsquare IDEALS.
The #BVGgrads2023 have chosen to attend a wide range of universities and programmes, reflecting the grads' uniqueness. From one side of Canada to another, and @BrownUniversity, @EmoryUniversity, @Penn, and @USC in the US, @bayviewglen will be well represented!
The @bayviewglen #BVGgrads2023 were proudly showing off their choices of university yesterday at our annual #WearYourColours day. There are plenty of celebrations planned in the days to come, but this was a great way to start congratulating them on their achievements.
High school students who aspire to a medical career should take note. Often, there is the assumption that they must go into a science-specific degree to then apply to med schools. Consider an #undergraduatedegree that includes a breadth of courses.

Psychology and sociology comprise 25% of the MCAT exam – the entire Psychological, Social and Biological Foundations of Behavior section – so this decision must not be taken lightly. nytv.to/vapMb

I'm now back @bayviewglen after a very engaging and informative @CISCounsellors #CISCAB23 conference. Students and parents who are interested in learning more about @MacEwanU, @UAlberta, @UCalgary, @mountroyal4u, let me know.
