So much Tyrese Maxey in 2027 Cayden Daughtry with his speed, quickness, shot-making, and hyper aggressive style of play — the Nike EYBL leading scorer, MVP, and Peach Jam champ — he began his senior season with a 46-point performance in a win in his matchup versus Beckham Black.

London Jackson caught my eye today at the first session of USA Basketball Junior National Team Minicamp ('29 and '30 classes). Strong, explosive, and can score at all three levels. He shot the ball well.
Others who stood out: JJ Crawford, RJ Evans, Draydne McDaniel, and Jace Opoku-Agyeman.

Scouting NBA Draft prospects starts years before they’re draft-eligible. This weekend’s USA Basketball minicamp is one of the most important early checkpoints in that process.
Preview is live now on BabcockHoops.com with the names to know in the 2027 and 2028 classes.

Impressive outing for 2028 Tai Bell in Vegas this morning — played up this grassroots season and now showing out with Columbus (FL) — a phenomenal downhill athletic guard, physical, creates opportunities for his teammates, and has that scoring versatility.

I remember early on in high school, Dan always talked about his dream of playing at Stanford. Not only did he accomplish that goal, and become a great player at that, but now he's the general manager. Come on, how cool is that?
Congrats, Dan. Well deserved. Proud of you, buddy! @Dan_Grunfeld 👏
Welcome home 🌲
We've named @Dan_Grunfeld as our General Manager.

After checking out the talent across the board over these last few months at different settings — Beckham Black, A.J. Williams, Cayden Daughtry, Lewis Uvwo, and others round out my current top-10 prospects regardless of class right now.

The pace 2028 A.J. Williams plays with is impressive — uses his strength, athleticism, not afraid to get physical on both ends, his feel for the game is there, and scoring versatility — a combo do-it-all type of forward in the making for this kid — 32 points today in a win.

2027 C.J. Rosser is the prototypical skilled, versatile forward in today’s game that NBA scouts have been heavy on — has been so assertive on both ends of the floor here in Vegas and with USA in Turkey last week — an impressive 24 points, 7 boards, and 3 blocks today.
