This is a bad take. A really bad take. As collectors, we absolutely get to decide what is important, to us.
Develop a thesis, identify the characteristics you believe are historically or technically significant, and collect accordingly.
What we CANNOT decide is whether the broader market will eventually share our assessment or assign those innovations financial value.
Markets can recognize important innovations late, misprice them for decades, or never value them appropriately.

Art was the first expression of Ordinals, not necessarily its ultimate purpose. The technology’s greatest contribution may be to the tokenization of ownership, while its earliest artworks become historical artifacts of that transition.
