Thank you teto for sponsoring a mint to Hyperion ☀️🌕
Choosing city/seed was surprisingly easy: Christchurch (Ōtautahi) has a special place in my heart. It was also the gateway to expeditions to Antarctica where humanity pushed its boundaries, just like we continue doing with ⛓️

Been adding some FOC art to my collection.
Last night it was @1337skulls.
Today it was @suitedriot.
What else should I be looking at???

not commenting much on this (yet), but the fact that I can name all the participants feels v good
Teto has done it again with Hyperion
They are inviting you to create attachments to the pieces you mint
I chose Breckenridge, Colorado for reasons known only to me. I picked seed #39 because Breck sits at approximately 39.48° north latitude. My grandmother, when I asked her age, would always tell me "39 and holding"
DM me if you want an invitation

”Develop a thesis, identify the characteristics you believe are historically or technically significant, and collect accordingly.”
👏👏👏👏
"No one gets to decide what it’s important until it’s deemed to be important."
This is a bad take. A really bad take. As collectors, we absolutely get to decide what is important, to us.
Develop a thesis, identify the characteristics you believe are historically or technically significant, and collect accordingly.
What we CANNOT decide is whether the broader market will eventually share our assessment or assign those innovations financial value.
Markets can recognize important innovations late, misprice them for decades, or never value them appropriately.

Everybody wants to be early.
Nobody wants to wait.
They want the moment.
The explosion.
The overnight success.
But overnight is a long fucking time, my friends.
You have to stay here when nobody is watching.
Making things. Breaking things. Losing things.
Trying again.
Sometimes it works.
Sometimes it don’t.
Then the crowd comes.
Everybody has an opinion.
Everybody knows what's going to happen next.
Turn it up.
Buy it now.
This is dead.
This is the future.
And then... silence.
Funny how fast the future gets quiet.
But the work is still here.
An unfinished picture.
A bad idea that might be a good idea.
Something I need to see that doesn’t exist yet.
You don’t need everybody.
You need time.
You need life.
A little room.
The freedom to make a beautiful mistake.
Sit still?
Be reasonable?
Wait for permission?
Fuck that.
Press on!
Keep going.
There's something more to say.
Even without knowing.
Maybe they laugh.
Maybe they hate it.
Maybe they come back ten years later.
I can wait.
When the crowd leaves
and the craze fades,
I will still be here,
making shit for real.
I’m Lemonhaze.
And Bitcoin is my canvas.

Art and collectibles on Bitcoin. The number of collectors in the space is small today. However, as tokenization and digital assets become more widely accepted, some of these early works will be highly sought after!
And congrats to @mfigge for having Twelvefold as part of the landmark gift of digital art to @LACMA.
Art on Bitcoin 🔥
Fabricated Nations, an artwork rooted in meaning, created in 3D, and endlessly looping, is my last remaining 1/1 from The Network collection.
The art will be on display tomorrow at The Adobe Room in Marfa. I hope you get the chance to experience it in person.

where does a contract get its randomness?
not from us but from 16 blocks nobody chose
the anchor points to the next block
the lock reads the hash and the art falls out
every byte lives on ethereum
the code, the art, the randomness
no server, no ipfs, no off-chain anything
this is magic behind fully onchain

EP’s personal website / Inscription 127625647
This is the first artist website to be inscribed entirely "on-chain" on the Bitcoin blockchain, thanks to the Ordinals protocol. By leveraging the "Parent-Child" standard and "Recursion," I have made my archive dynamic: it automatically detects and incorporates every new artwork, every new collector, and every new collection.
Furthermore, the website can be updated simply by inscribing a new "engine" onto satoshi 1501147000000000; the "container" will always read the most recent "engine" inscription present on that satoshi, effectively updating the website.
Personal website of the artist EP (Elia Pieraccini) (b. 2000, Tuscany). It serves as a dynamic personal portfolio where collectors, curators, galleries, and art enthusiasts can gain a clear and comprehensive view of the work EP has created on the Bitcoin blockchain, utilizing the Ordinals protocol.
