I've updated of the 1st chapter of my on-going dark fantasy comic, TIME WILL DEVOUR HIS CHILDREN, - 20 new pages - 3 reworked scenes, and visual and dialogue tweaks throughout for better flow. PWYW, with a free update for ppl who already bought the file: claystorks.itch.io/time-will…

Haven't kept up with Chainsaw Man but every few months it seems like Fujimoto just decides to create another terrible woman and every time it goes over like Dragon Ball introducing a new level of Super Saiyan.

Thinking about how Nope does that annoying Save The Cat thing where every single detail has to be set up and come back to be important later. I wish it was a little messier lol.

Trying to watch a bunch of horror movies in the lead-up to Halloween. Watched "Skinamarink" and "Nope" so far, I enjoyed both but wish each of them was like 15% more upsetting.

In one of the first scenes a character casually mentions she rides motorcycles, to set up a big motorcycle sequence at the very end. Nothing is a throwaway, everything is a Chekhov’s gun. The Rian Johnson school of unsubtle filmmaking.

there’s a little less than 24 hours left to fund @grimwilkins’ new comic, and it’s 90% of the way to its goal…I know I’m preaching to the choir here, but if you haven’t backed it yet, please consider it, and RT Grim’s posts! I can’t stress enough…this is good comics

It's the last 48 hours of MIRENDA AND THE GOLDEN HORNS on Kickstarter! I'm not exaggerating when I say there are no comics like this, and without funding it might just disappear into the atmosphere Also, it's going to be Tintin-sized! (link below)

Should I read that Jack Kirby “remix” comic Scioli put out, even though I know it’s just going to make me mad?

Against my better judgment I'm reading the Chris Claremont Fantastic Four comics. Thankfully the Silver Surfer is here and he's appropriately miserable 😌

Fantagraphics sued Emil Ferris. You think they would have sued one of their pet bad boys? Please

Very distressing to encounter a Spider-Man comics reader in The Real World.

I told him I'm more of a Batman guy because that seemed easier than trying to explain the existence of indie comics and less embarrassing than admitting how much I love the Silver Surfer.

Saw an interview with a superhero writer who seemed genuinely surprised that artists are able to use drawings to show an emotion. Where do they find these guys lol.
