Like many, I was disappointed to see $POLY teased again with no real answers. But @Polymarket seems set on going public, maybe onchain. What if long-time users got shares instead of an airdrop? The same way early employees get equity before an IPO. Just an idea that popped into my head and figured I share. Curious if people think this is even a possibility or if we should move on from any $POLY hope.

Some changes coming to the resolution source for weather markets on @Polymarket. Starting Aug 23rd, all temperature markets will resolve from weather.gov (NWS) instead of Weather Underground. Resolution is still based on METARs and SPECIs. This should eliminate the discrepancies that caused issues on a handful of markets from Wunderground.

Seeing some confusion about the @Polymarket weather market update: The resolution source has not changed it’s still Weather Underground What has changed is strikes are now set 1 day out instead of 2. They are also using a better data provider for tighter bracket accuracy Rewards will be increasing for these markets as well.
