At the same time as unelected PM Burnham is mandating Digital ID for over 16’s to be able to access social media he is also rushing through measures to remove the requirement for photo ID for voting.
So higher ID requirements for social media than voting !

GOV UK One Login is expanding across government.
But when did Parliament properly debate how far it should go?
A reusable government account and digital identity system could eventually become the gateway to services, benefits, business obligations and many other interactions with the state. That would reshape the relationship between citizen and government. It should not happen through administrative expansion on the quiet.

Unelected PM Andy Burnham pledged to end Starmer’s Digital ID policy , today in Parliament we learnt that he lied.
👁️There's no such thing as "device level controls for children" only digital ID checks for EVERYONE.
No one in a democracy should need to show their passport just to get online.
These plans would replace efforts for meaningful tech and parental responsibility with performative, authoritarian government control and technology that is ripe for abuse.
No safety testing on higher levels has been done and the potential risks are significant

Under randomised conditions in rodents, folic acid:
reduces MTHFR activity,
restricts growth in the womb,
shrinks the memory structures of the brain and impairs memory,
weakens the immune cells that police viruses and tumours,
shortens survival after infection and
accelerates the growth of tumours that already exist.
That is a long list of problems for a supposed vitamin that is being added to our food as a legal requirement.

It is not a vitamin.
Folate is the vitamin.
Folic acid is a drug.

Folic acid is not the same as the other things added to our bread.
1. Thiamin and niacin molecules are the same molecule as found in wholemeal and removed in milling. You can't overdose.
2. Iron and chalk are different salts to the ones found in food, you can overdose and people with haemochromatosis and kidney stones need to be careful about consumption.
3. Folic acid is a drug:
a) It is synthetic and is never found in nature
b) It needs to be converted by an inefficient enzyme before the body can use it (and has effects on the body in its unmetabolised state)
c) It is being added for a medicinal purpose.
d) People with certain medical conditions have to avoid it and the patient information leaflet that comes with the drug and the NHS both warn about these (including undiagnosed B12 deficency)
e) It interacts with other medications that people take.
