honestly, fuck the Peru friendly. Cavan Sullivan, Neil Pierre, and Frankie Westfield should be with the Union and trying to set a new franchise unbeaten games record

Bryson Stott’s stolen base last inning was the 138th attempt of his career. He has a success rate of 89.13%. That is the best percentage in MLB history of anyone with at least as many attempts as Stott has.

There is approximately a 1 in 12,048 chance (or 1 in 6,622 if we factor out intentional walks) that Citizens Bank Park would not have seen a walk-off home run since 2023.
Yet here we are
@BenHSilver on the mysterious Phillies curse that makes no sense

The Phillies are basically the late 90s Buffalo Sabres at this point.
Fans of the team that watch them every day think, "Jfc, our best F is Miroslav Satan & our best d-man is Alexei Zhitnik."
Opposing fans think "holy christ we have to face Dominik Hasek in a playoff series???"

OH MY WHAT A GOAL
Ezekiel Alladoh’s unreal finish gives Philadelphia Union the stoppage time victory over Atlanta United
Union scored twice in the final moments of the match to take all 3 points for the 3rd straight game

The (Jimmy) King of Philadelphia World Cup content, signing off. 👑
Thank you @Jimmyking35, for capturing the unforgettable moments, incredible people, and unmatched energy that made our city shine throughout 39 days of festivities.🫡
I’ve tried to come up with the right words but I just dont think I’ll ever do it justice. The World Cup being in Philadelphia was without a doubt the best few weeks of my life. I will never forget covering all 6 games and documenting the world coming together to celebrate the World Cup in my city, Philadelphia
I hope you made the decision to get outside and dive in, it’s a high I’ll be chasing for the rest of my life.
It’s not often I say this, but I am very proud of myself today.
Thank you all for the incredible support 🫶

Before today's game, take a walk back over Derek Hill's stellar night in New York including one of the best catches you'll see all season
AND it includes a great note about his offensive impact from @BenHSilver

Cristopher Sanchez has now been the best pitcher in baseball for nearly a year and a half
And it hasn’t even been that close.

ICYMI: Our very own @BenHSilver caught up with Tague Davis, the standout first baseman for @LouisvilleBSB, and son of Ben.
An incredible story for an incredible athlete.

This is exactly what I’m talking about.
More than often, Rob privately had exactly the conversation fans were demanding him to have. But, he didn’t do it publicly for show, he would do it privately with his players in the way he thought they would respond best.
Replying to @TarynNHatcher
Shouldnt need to “sacrifice” himself if he held players accountable. Come on Taryn.

The Phillies' pitching staff has done an excellent job at limiting loud contact thus far. They've held opponents to the lowest hard-hit rate in baseball at 33.8 percent.
And despite their 4.39 team ERA, their expected ERA (mostly based on contact quality) is an NL-best 2.87.

Last time the Phillies broke a walk-off HR drought this long, there were 16 teams in the MLB and none west of the Mississippi
Kyle Schwarber hit the #Phillies' last walk-off HR at CBP, on 6/9/23 vs. the Dodgers.
The Phils have played 216 home games since then (including 1 in London) without a walk-off HR.
It’s their longest such drought in over 80 years:
