I mean, Keyonte George is leading the team in scoring and assists, he also the leading three point shooter at 47% on 6 attempts per game, and he’s second on the team in FG% behind Jaxson Hayes who mostly dunks. He’s turning the ball over too much, but he’s the only initiator.

I’m a new fan and I see this fanbase has a love affair with Key. All I will say is watch how he plays at the end of games. He’s not a good decision maker and he doesn’t do any one thing exceptionally well.

When Keyonte isn’t leading the offense right now the Jazz simply don’t have the combination of rim pressure, shooting, and playmaking to run Will Hardy’s offense. The Jazz are giving DP windows to get up to speed, but I don’t think he’s there yet for that to be his full role.

Actually really liked the DP minutes at point guard with that second unit group. He’s still not making threes, but he can get into the paint and play off two feet and it keeps some optionality open for the offense. Might need to see more of those opportunities.

The Jazz started the game 5-10 from three, but are only 3-13 since. Darryn Peterson and Svi Mykhailiuk simply have to start making threes if they’re going be to be playing this much.

Also, with this lineup of Collier, Svi, Sensabaugh, Okogie, and Hayes, Brice HAS to touch the ball and nobody is looking for him. Just a lot of difficult shots gliding across the paint, or turnovers.

Best quarter of the season for the @UtahJazz. The shooting finally showed up, knocking down 5/10 threes, and out-rebounding the Lakers 15-6. Ace Bailey and Lauri Markkanen were unguardable combing for 27 points.

Simple pass, but a good one from Lauri. Markkanen was on a bit of a heater and he can obviously hit that shot, but finds a better look with JJJ in the corner, who was having a good 4th quarter. Markkanen probably has to take that shot each of the last 4 years.

Really good defensive possession from Keyonte George to body up against Murray, then recover to get in front of Zion after he got beat. Have to make multiple efforts.

I liked Keyonte George's first stint tonight. Didn't take his first shot until nearly 7 minutes into the game, and it was a layup. Also, several high-effort hustle plays. He doesn't have to be elite on ball, but he needs to be a defensive playmaker, steals, deflections etc.

Will Hardy said he wanted Jaxson Hayes on the floor to put a bigger body between Zion and the rim. But praised Ace postgame. Ace joked after the game he was going to practice shooting on his mini-hoop at home after his 2-8 shooting performance.
