The families of the hostages are suing pro-Hamas organizations operating here in the US. The lawsuit contains a bombshell revelation: “three minutes before Hamas began its attack on October 7th, Columbia SJP posted on Instagram “We are back.” Before the 10/7 posting, Columbia SJP’s account had been inactive for months, only to be suspiciously reactivated minutes before the 10/7 terror attacks. The timing seems too coincidental to be a coincidence.
If there are organizations here in the US that had advance knowledge of the 10/7 attacks, which led to the murder of American citizens, the American people have a right to know the full truth.

I enthusiastically agree with about 60% of this and profoundly disagree with the remaining 40%, which makes it all interesting! @rickhess99 @BernerEd @Dyrnwyn @HowardLFuller @NealMcCluskey

It's time to stop weaponizing education research and pitting charters against districts! Most countries don't roll this way. Join the conversation in Boston on June 30 at 11 am.

And you’d support school choice if all recipients of public funding were held to same academic standards? I’m pretty sure most parents would be happy with that and conservatives would accept the deal!

Ask yourself, why would people who claim parents need vouchers because their children are being failed in public schools then oppose forcing private schools to be held to the same academic standards at the schools the vouchers are stealing from?

Totally agree. Too bad we’re in such a minority in the US, where ideology, at both extremes, has ruled out system configurations that deliver higher much performance in other countries. Here, adults bluster and millions of children suffer.

Here's a significant legal issue percolating in lower fed cts: does 501c3 status mean an institution receives "federal financial assistance" and is thus subject to federal laws like Title IX? Two DCs have now held yes. Big implications for independent schools.

I so appreciate Ashley’s scholarship and careful distinction between educational pluralism and school choice. Looking forward to reading this when it is published!

Exposure is not indoctrination. Most OECD countries fund Jewish, Montessori, Catholic, secular (etc.) schools - and require them to teach comparative religion and ethics every year.
