I am from Germany. Beagles from Ridglan Farms are sold to Germany. Dogs are tortured to death in laboratories in Germany. It's as barbaric to send dogs to Germany as to send them to China.

🚨 The @US_FDA just rocked the research world with a bold plan to reduce animal testing — but industry giants are already scrambling to spin, stall, and sabotage this progress. Don’t let them. Take action to keep the pressure on: riseforanimals.org/news/fda-…

This is HUGE. A court just appointed a special prosecutor to investigate the crimes of Ridglan Farms, one of the largest dog research and breeding facilities in the world.
For years, I begged the government to help the Ridglan dogs. But instead of investigating Ridglan, the government tried to throw me in jail after I took a blind puppy out of her cage and to the vet.
Now the tables have turned, with a court finding not only that animals are abused, but that the government has, de facto, been part of the cover-up.
This is just the first step. We’ll need your help. Click the link in the bio, if you want to join our meeting this weekend to discuss what’s next.

If the subpoena requesting veterinary info had been granted, Dane4Dogs and Wayne might have found records to bolster their claim that Ridglan staff cut beagles' vocal cords without anesthesia and without a veterinary license.
Other illegalities might have emerged as well.

On Oct. 23rd, Dane4Dogs and Wayne Hsiung will make their 'probable cause' argument against Ridglan Farms.
To bolster that argument, Dane4Dogs and Wayne requested Ridglan Farms' veterinary records.
They made the request via subpoena.
Today Judge Lanford denied that subpoena.

🧫🧪 Animal-free safety testing is the future—and for good reason! Non-animal methods are often superior to animal tests:
➡️ More predictive of human responses to chemicals
➡️ Faster, more efficient
➡️ Deliver more reliable, reproducible data
➡️ Eliminate animal suffering

We are so excited to be lecturing and tabling at the Student American Veterinary Medical Association Symposium at UC Davis in March! SAVMA is comprised of 39 student chapters and has 18,000 veterinary student members, making the Symposium an amazing place to connect with veterinary students who are working in the best interests of animals, no matter their species. However, SAVMA charges lecturers and organizations with a booth to sponsor the Symposium.
We need your help in raising $3,000 so we can reach the next generation of veterinarians!

Attend our free RACE-approved veterinary continuing education on Friday, April 12th at 4:00 PM PST with Dr. Marek Muller and learn about the use and abuse of human and nonhuman animals in U.S. slaughterhouses.
This presentation is based on her academic publication regarding the violence experienced by livestock animals en route to slaughter and the human workers whose job it is to slaughter them. It will emphasize the physical, psychological, and social consequences experiences by both the humans and livestock animals in the abattoir as they come into contact with one another. Livestock animals experience massive welfare violations whereas workers are subject to harmful working conditions.
Register and be sure to attend live to gain 0.5 CE credits. ✍️ ourhonor.org/marek
