The more I see all media outlets showing the polls, the more concerned I get. The polls predicted Hillary winning and Kamala winning. Perhaps the question worth asking is: who benefits from broadcasting all of these polls when how they are often taken may not access a balanced slice of the voting public.

I hope Jalen Hurts understands that regardless of what happens next, there are millions of Eagles fans who will never forget what he did for this franchise 1️⃣🦅🏆

Eagles QB Jalen Hurts is expected to be sidelined for multiple months after new imaging over the weekend found several blood clots in his lungs. Hurts is now on blood thinners and should have no long-term effects. But it’s unlikely he plays again this season.

I think @Eagles fans feel better with @JasonKelce calling the games. @TomBrady is still low-key salty. #GoBirds

No child’s funeral should be a counter argument.

The music industry has been declared “over” so many times…and yet (while different), it only seems to get bigger and stronger in the aggregate.

Not true. My @MySundayTicket had system problems. No big deal. Just first week of the season. @NFL should hold your feet to the 🔥

Hi there, thanks for reaching out. This game isn't available to watch in your home area because your local station transitioned to another game. If you're an NFL Sunday Ticket subscriber, you can watch the game by going to the Sunday Ticket channel instead. We get how frustrating it is. If you see a blocked icon on the game, don't worry, you should still be able to click in & watch

No split screen option either. 🤦🏻‍♂️
By the time they switch to Eagles game, the 1st quarter will be over! I paid for Sunday Ticket to get all the games and follow my team! Bad business by the @nfl and @YouTubeTV !!!

Not even a split screen. @YouTubeTV forgot common sense. @Eagles fans are losing their minds.
Hey @YouTubeTV - What’s the point of having the NFL package if we can’t watch every game live. Anyone who wants to watch Eagles-Commanders should have the option to watch and not be forced to wait until Saints-Lions end. This isn’t 1985. Fix this.

Shame @NFLonFOX just sacrificed their cred on first Sunday.
Dear @NFLonFOX and @YouTubeTV, I do not care if the Saints and Lions are in overtime, I want the option to watch the Eagles and Commanders. Please fix this. It's an awful user experience.

Twenty-five years ago today, under a sky that was the wrong kind of blue, 2,977 people went to work, or boarded a plane, or answered an alarm, and never came home. I read words from a politician too in love with the the sound of his own voice to realize the poison he poured on the still grieving when he claimed these people simply "died." They didn't. Dying is what happens to all of us eventually; what happened to them was done TO them, on purpose, by a violent, fanatical cult that turned passenger jets into bombs and used innocent people to make a statement. It wanted the world's attention, and it wrote its message in other people's blood. They were murdered. I remember the smell —anybody in the city that fall remembers the smell—and office paper snowing on Brooklyn, and people at the windows choosing the air over the fire, and men gray from helmet to boot rinsing the poison off their faces at a hydrant and then turning around and walking back into the pile, which everybody knew was not rubble. It was people. They went back in anyway. Then came the flyers, xeroxed faces taped to hospital walls and lampposts all over the city—a father in a birthday hat, MISSING—parents looking for children and children looking for parents and spouses looking for the other half of their life, every one of them holding a photograph and a glimmer: maybe an air pocket, maybe a miracle, maybe... And under the flyers, the flowers, and the candles guttering in the rain, and hope on its knees at the curb. I need to say this out loud: we were not divided! Not that week or that month. Nobody in the blood-donation line asked how you voted. Congress stood on the Capitol steps and sang "God Bless America" off-key and together. Ordinary passengers over a Pennsylvania field took a vote and charged a cockpit. The best of New York, the best of DC, the best of a country that can barely agree on lunch rose out of that ash, and for a little while a whole nation was singing in one key. The death cult didn't get its victory, but it took something. A quarter century later the dust is still killing the people who dug, there are 25-year-olds with a father's name on a bronze parapet downtown and no memory of his voice. And the sheer harshness of it-a total absence of humanity-took a chunk out of everyone who watched, so that every kid born since inherited the scar without ever seeing the wound. So, in twenty-five years have we learned anything? I'm not sure the answer flatters any of us and I'm not exempting myself. We learned to stand in line at the airport carrying our shoes and to say something if we saw something. We learned to be afraid. What I fear we've unlearned is the courage that ran toward the smoke. And on the question of which extreme ideologies we should make room for now—the one that flew into the towers, or the quieter ones we've started excusing because they happen to hate the “right people” (every side has one, including whatever side I'm supposed to be on)—the answer is the same one it was the morning the towers fell: none. We will never forget; that was never the question. The question is whether we can find who the hell we were on September 12th. The better American souls the murdered put to work… Let us be them again without needing another pile to remind us. 🇺🇸

No one wore a scarf for Sudan. No one blocked a monument or bridge for Sudan. No campus voted to divest from anyone over Sudan. 33.7 million people need aid, more than any country on earth, and the UN can't fund a sixth of the plan. Turns out the world's outrage has an algorithm, and Sudan isn't in it.

I don't care what party or position you subscribe to, this is a shockingly tone deaf and offensive post by @NYCMayor and EVERY American and New Yorker should be offended. I lost a brother-in-law years later from cancer because of those attacks and the residual toxic contamination to those who lived near ground zero. My wife and I fled our apartment and couldn't return also because of the residual toxicity in the air because of those attacks. My father-in-law walked 100 blocks downtown that day to make sure my other brother-in-law who worked in WTC was still alive. Thousands of innocent Americans and New Yorkers who were just going to work--blue, white and no collar workers-- were murdered by violent terrorists. Parents. Children. Families. Friends. Firefighters. Teachers. Caregivers. Police Officers. Custodians. Wives. Husbands. Siblings. Friends. Neighbors. ALL faiths. All ages. All backgrounds. America was attacked by Islamic extremists who weaponized civilian aircrafts to murder civilians in cold blood in the name of religious fanaticism.
Nearly 3,000 New Yorkers died on 9/11; 22 years later, the death hasn't stopped. We mourn our neighbors who died that day. The hundreds of thousands who died in the wars that followed. The unknown millions injured & displaced. In their memory, we work toward a better world.

Remember comedy?
This is one of those rare moments where SNL actually made me laugh. I see Dana Carvey and Jim Gaffigan there. That will always help. It feels weird and im always so surprised if I find anything from them funny anymore. 🤣🤣🤣

Well illustrated: Dem on Dem crime and what it leads to….
Paul Begala to Jessica Tarlov: "The DSA has their own party, and here's what they've done for America: They elected George Bush by supporting Ralph Nader in 2000. They elected Donald Trump by supporting Jill Stein in 2016. They helped elect Donald Trump in 2024 by doing this 'uncommitted nonsense.' So their contribution to America has been the Iraq war, the Afghanistan war, the financial crisis, and the Trump presidency. I've had just about enough help from the kook left. Not only do they siphon off votes, but they taint and poison the brand." overcast.fm/+ABLWa14lb2c
