"School choice" is bait & switch for MORE GOVERNMENT and MORE BEAURACRACY! Money ALWAYS has strings which means less freedom. Call your Texas State Rep and tell them to vote NO on HB3. A simple call with that simple statement is all that is needed. Any good State Rep will get a summary of their calls and the subjects of those calls. They'll listen when pressure is applied. Share this so others can learn about the false promises that come with state created redistribution of wealth. #txlege 🧵 1/

Imagine being the guy who prides himself in being able to spot generational talent and then actually finding space Jesus out in the wild... you're envisioning training this kid for the rest of your life. The Aristotle to his Alexander... But then you die and your shitlib, managerial Padawan becomes his master And suddenly any instinct the chosen one has won't be cultivated and honed so that he can truly actualize his ubermensch potential; it'll just be negged and obstructed to death by a "do you have a source for that" democracy-believer

Again, a candidate who lost a national election is calling for an end to the constitutional mechanisms by which she lost, and there's not a peep out of our fascist happy label media about it.

So a CIA agent masquerading as a politician visits Poland and a month later they have a coup. And now she’s threatening a coup in the US. Hmmm. It’s probably nothing.
Last month, Elissa Slotkin brags about how she went to Poland and Hungary and "brought home the playbook to get out of 'authoritarian' governments." WTAF. 🤯 The Deputy Foreign Minister of Poland, Radosław Sikorski is celebrating the globalist coup. Here he is last month alongside Elissa Slotkin. Are you awake yet?!

Want to get your name in print? Here is the easy way: identify yourself as a Republican leader, then publicly backstab the party during the general. Ta-da, 15 minutes of fame from people who wouldn’t urinate on you if you were on fire after November 3rd.

In the Bible, we are called to charity, which in context means aid to one's needy neighbors...not ridiculous bureaucratic schemes/voyuerism directed halfway around the world But most people don't like their neighbors, and know the needy among them to generally be unpleasant and incompetent at best, so they don't really want to do that They'd rather travel to Botswana to pay someone to drill a well, take photos of it, and get to see some megafauna while patting themselves on the back for all the good they did for so many people in comparison to just taking peanut butter to a food bank at home or whatever (little good was done, in reality: that well will be gone thanks to neglect within a year, if not a week) This is a major problem, and little connected with "mission work" is real charity. The Bible doesn't call us to be spreadsheet-brained and think about the "root causes" of poverty. Instead, it provides that the poor will always be with us, which is undoubtedly true, as any study into why the poor are poor shows Giving some cans of ravioli to the homeless guy, mentoring someone who needs your help, etc. is much closer to Biblical charity than the sort of telescopic philanthropy directed towards Africa that arose once the Victorian middle class realized it didn't like the Victorian working class that much
Mission work in the 21st century is a bad scene. Almost no one doing it has their own life & community under control. It’s escapism. I was at a church where they spent an entire service allowing this couple make a presentation about their 6 months doing mission work in some town in sub Saharan Africa. The typical little African town scenes and tropes - just so ridiculous. Meanwhile, their daughter is at home is in rehab for alcoholism and is suicidal. The story was gross.

I can empathise with this take but it seems to me a very 1990s reading. Picard wouldn't really fit the progressive mould today. Let's remember that he grew up on a family vineyard that had been in the Picard line for generations, run the old way by a family who saw replicators and other modern conveniences as a threat to something worth keeping. That same man later returned to the estate after leaving Starfleet. The tastes he carried with him - Shakespeare, archaeology, a clear preference for the deep past - don't sit easily with a politics that treats tradition as something to get past. His great leadership happened inside Starfleet's rank structure and chain of command. More importantly, it took place in a post-socialist society that had already solved material scarcity; a post-scarcity future that owed its abundance to earlier capitalist innovation, scientific discovery, and risk-taking. What remained was the work of self-improvement. That combination looks less like progressive politics and more like an older idea of ordered life sustained by inheritance, hierarchy, and the cultivation of character. Even the milder progressive of the 1990s would have trouble claiming Picard now. A contemporary progressive would read his authority as white male privilege exercised inside a hierarchical military that expands under the name of exploration. Today's self-righteous Jacobins would treat the Federation itself as a form of soft imperialism that absorbs other cultures while calling the process enlightenment. The family vineyard would be inherited wealth and settler privilege; Shakespeare and archaeology would be the Western canon and colonial grave-robbing. The defence of Lt. Data as a new sentient life form would be dismissed as individualist rights talk that ignores structural power. Add the absence of identity-based solidarity, the human-centred Prime Directive that still ranks other species, and the quiet Eurocentrism of a French captain quoting dead white men on the bridge, and Picard would not be celebrated. He would be cancelled. This is why both old-school liberals and conservatives could still enjoy 1990s Star Trek. They disagreed about secularism and rationalist visions of society, yet they shared enough ground on duty, hierarchy, inheritance, and the cultivation of character to recognise something of themselves in Picard. The newer Jacobin progressives share almost none of that ground. The distance between the liberalism of that era and the progressivism of this one is, in the end, as wide as a galaxy.
Jean-Luc Picard remains the single most compelling vision of progressive politics I am familiar with — secular, rational, compassionate, egalitarian; a believer in progress & abundance but also duty, hard work, and a constant battle for self-improvement and improving the world.

The sudden influx of Muslim candidates is not organic, it is organized. The Muslim brotherhood, through CAIR, has spent years finding and developing charismatic and intelligent Muslim Americans into political candidates. This is why none of them have a work history but are in their 30’s and somehow have millions of dollars. You don’t need a job with Qatari cash flowing in during your political taqqiyah training
People in an intolerant 6th century religion are rushing straight into American politics with absolute slop.

Rewatching this final scene of Star Trek: The Next Generation today hurts. The world in which this show existed feels long gone. Every week we watched on “network TV” a strong and virtuous male leader be celebrated. We grappled with real philosophical questions without cynicism. We laughed without being “irony poisoned.” We celebrated men and women working together in complementary collaboration—not in zero-sum competition. That world feels gone, but it doesn’t have to be. Most of us still hold these values. We can tell stories like this again.

Pretty sure I’m in early labor, but I wasn’t about to miss voting in Virginia. Two older women tried to hand me a Democrat sample ballot and asked if I knew about the constitutional amendments. Ladies, I’m 9 months pregnant. You picked the WRONG woman. I told them I knew exactly what was on the ballot and that I was disgusted, absolutely disgusted. Every baby has value. Every baby deserves the right to life. And I’ll fight for their lives just as fiercely as I’d fight for my own. So I waddled into that voting booth, contractions and all, and voted NO on Amendment 1. Abortion should NEVER be a constitutional right.

Ram Chhetri came to the US as a refugee, but this might be worst day of his life: It's the moment he realizes the $80k-$160k/year salary he's bilked from Medicaid for no-show work is coming to an end because @realdailywire caught the truth on camera. We conducted months of surveillance that shows why "home care aide" is now the *most common job* in states like NY, CA, MN, and PA: Because a large part of those jobs are unambiguous Medicaid fraud. Thanks to home care, Bhutanese refugees now make more money than actual PA families. The state doesn't just look the other way, but helps them get away with it. Converting federal health dollars into a universal basic income for certain communities relieves the financial burden they place on the state. The scammers easily deceive the feds' woefully broken monitoring system. You'll see Ram pull into a driveway for 2 minutes in the morning, then 2 minutes in the evening. He clocks in and out of his shift from the right place, and the GPS system doesn't notice that he goes home in between. $20 an hour doesn't sound like much, but at 77 hours a week, it's $80k–and it's easy to bill huge hours when you don't actually have to work them. And that's just for the low-level guys in this scheme.

Regardless of who wins the US Senate race from Texas this year, James Talarico or Ken Paxton, I will say this: The anti-Paxton people have done generational damage to whatever they think their brand of Republican or conservatism is. They told us to hold our nose and vote for your candidates in the general and challenge them in the primaries. They told us our differences, even our concerns about their candidate's character, didn't matter. We did as they asked. Over and over and over again. Because they needed our votes and the alternative was worse. We're asking you to do what you told us to do: Hold your nose and vote for our candidates in the general and challenge them in the primaries. You are refusing. Over and over and over again. In an election where the alternative is the worst it has ever been. We'll remember that next time you need our votes. And before you say it: You WILL need our votes. If you didn't, your Cornyn would have won the Primary and be cruising to an easy election and Democrats would be failing in elections all over the nation. That isn't happening, and that didn't happen. You think all the moderates you're alienating will vote for your candidates to make up for all the conservatives you're also alienating? It's like RINO Inc is TRYING to make themselves utterly electorally non-viable by alienating literally everyone.

“Why does this keep happening on college campuses?” Universities are not a side quest for communist revolutions. They are the headquarters. They are the brain trust. They are the recruiting farm. Communist revolutions are spawned on campus.

Young women are often the most sadistic communists. Lenin and Pol Pot and Mao and many others have used them for the nastiest jobs. Take that motherly instinct and channel it towards the revolution and you’ve got yourself a true demon.
At @UTSA for Pick Up the Mic, a student read a poem celebrating the assassination of Charlie Kirk with such glee, then told me I was brave to be out here without my neck covered. I told her I’d pray for her. This is the climate. We pick up the mic anyway.

I want to show you something. A peek into the programming. What does it mean to be Iranian? Will you reduce the Iranian people to the color of their skin? Are we at war with Iran because Iranians are ”brown”? Of course not. You understand immediately that “Iranian” identifies something historically and culturally particular and tied to a homeland. Not a skin color. But in this discussion, you hear “white” and suddenly you only think skin color. My brother in Christ, if you’re white and reading this, you are white. Are you more than your skin color? Of course you are. You cannot answer, “Well, I'm a Christian and a citizen of heaven.” That’s not what we’re talking about. We’re talking about earthly things. Your heavenly citizenship no more abolishes your earthly peoplehood than it abolishes your family. But such an answer is part of the problem because the implication is either that it doesn't mean anything to be white or that it doesn't matter. “White” itself is not a nation. Englishmen, Irishmen, Frenchmen, Italians are not one interchangeable people merely because they’re white. But neither did these peoples cease to possess ancestry because someone classified them all as “white.” When I say “white” the emphasis is not merely on the color of the skin. I’m talking about descent - about the particular people from whom I came, their history, their memory, their culture, their place. Race, people, nation, and citizenship are not interchangeable categories. But neither are they unrelated. White people exist. European peoples exist. And those peoples are no more reducible to pigmentation than anyone else. We’ve been taught to perform that reduction on ourselves. “Why can’t white Christians have a nation?” Before asking what white, people, or nation even means, many respond: “The question itself is sinful!” Why? If other peoples may remember their ancestors, cherish their inheritance, preserve their culture, love their homeland, and desire continuity between generations, why does that become wicked when European peoples do it? “The question itself is sinful!” Stop reducing white identity to the color of our skin. The elites don't want you to know this, white boy, but you can just remember who you are. Deprogram.
